Pros: Lightweight, sleek, good battery life, good call quality. Cons: Camera occasionally glitches.
My husband and I switched cell phone providers over a month ago. We’d spent a couple of years with T-Mobile (after a disastrous stretch with AT&T-Cingular), and were looking forward to hooking up with Verizon. Don’t ...
Pros: Rubberized exterior, exterior touch controls, call/signal quality, PC connectivity options, inexpensive. Cons: Flimsy port covers, smallish screen size, included accessories are sparse.
As part of Verion's "new every two" program, I decided to upgrade from my previous Motorola RAZR v3m, which was a fine phone in its own right. While the RAZR performed very well during its duty cycle, I was always disappointed in the way Verizon ...
Pros: design, call clarity is phenomenal, speakerphone Cons: texting iTAP
I tried two different phones (using my New Every Two deal) and both were awful LG phones. I finally went into the store (as I'd been using the internet before) and looked for a phone. I finally settled on the Moto W755, even though I've been a hardcore ...
Pros: Cheap Cons: Battery life, overheats, drop calls, poor signal
After struggling through 5 LG Chocolate phones (multiple problems, which Verizon finally gave up trying to fix and allowed me to switch to a different phone altogether), I chose the Motorola Moto W755 due to Motorola's good name, and past experience with ...
Pros: Raised buttons, clear reception, good basic phone if you are using it for calls only. Cons: Battery life shorter than anticipated.
I'll just come right out and say it. I have fat fingers and the reason I chose this phone was because I want buttons that are slightly raised, a feature that has become increasingly difficult in the evolution of cell phones. This phone was my one of ...
Pros: display, user friendly menu, while talking able to see real time and minutes used Cons: battery life, reception, poor sound, very hot when talking for over 5 minutes
06-24-08 First, let me say I have always been a Motorola User beginning with the good old StarTac and just now trading in the V265. I'm not much of a "bells and whistles" type of a person. I JUST WANT A PHONE WITH GOOD RECEPTION. Living in a fringe area ...
Pros: Charger is small and light. Has a nice screen. 4 GB capacity. Cons:Battery life is horrible. Low resolution video capture. Music volume has limited adjustment range.
The first Moto W755 I had would lockup and reboot itself randomly when trying to take a picture. It went from a full charge to half charge in 48 hours with very limited use. OK - so I thought it was a defective unit. Verizon exchanged it under their ...
nice phone, I switched from Lg 8300 to this, Very happy by carolynruth ,Jul 02 '08
Pros: handsfree dialing with speakerphone.good hold feel and nice large flip. look, feel and balance. Cons: missing calleralert. Menu does not work.Caller id showsup-no announcement of name
Features great on Motorola is that you can use speakerphone and answer calls while closed. LG still needs to open and keep open to use even in voice recognition mode.
Only problem which is with Verizon, does not allow caller alert--Caller Id name is verbally spoken and than phone rings. It has feature but is turned off. Verizon claims is might interfer with their services or they did not order that feature from Moto. They do allow it on LG. However with renewed contract they are giving phone away free in stores but you pay processing fee. On web it is 20 with no processing fee.
Moto 755 feels good in small hands. buttons are perfect and rectangle with a nice rubbery feel. the okay button has different feel also. Outside is a rubbery paint (silicon feel). Great sound. Just like having a hearing aid. I can hear my daughter on phone, when normally is felt like she was slurring all the letters and felt muffled. She is always on speaker phone.
Motorola w755 cell phone by one_more_guy ,Aug 01 '08
Pros: Compact size, long battery life, ease of use. Cons: For unexplained reasons the texting function frequently slows to an unacceptable crawl.
This is my first cell phone with a plan. I have had a Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go phone previously.
Overall, I like this phone. It is fairly simple to find the functions I use. So far, after about 3 weeks, I only have one complaint. The text message writing sometimes get painfully slow. I took the phone to a Verizon store to have it checked out. The tech I talked with asked me if I had been taking a lot of pictures on it. I had taken maybe 10 at most, with all but 3 of them erased.
The tech then shut the phone off and pulled out the battery. When he started it up again it worked fine. A couple of days later, after taking a single picture, it slowed to a crawl again. Has anyone else experienced this?
