Nads - save your money and your time.

by kkerri , Apr 27 '02
Pros: No need to heat.
Cons: Doesn't work and messy.
I tried Nads after seeing the infomercial. I was enthusiastic about the thought of not having to shave my legs anymore. I liked that the product could be used at home, was relatively inexpensive, and did not require heat.

So, I bought the...

GLAD I FOUND NADS

by susankurek , Aug 05 '02
Pros: Cheaper than a salon wax, easy to clean up, removes most hair
Cons: Is very sticky, takes some practice
I was lured into buying this by watching the informercial, which, to be honest sounds too good to be true. But, nether the less i decided to purchase it anyway.

I decided not to buy it from the tele commercial, and decided to see if i could...

My Hair Free Bubble Is Burst

by javagirly , Apr 09 '02
Pros: Who would have thought Kiwi smelled so nice?
Cons: Hmm, let's see....blood, bruising, ingrown hairs. Is that enough?
I have hair. We all have hair, but for some reason women are only allowed to have it in a few select places. Men can be woolly mammoths, but a few days without shaving and I am shunned. So in my never ending quest to find something that will remove...

Better off on a Candy shelf, instead of on a health and beauty products shelf.

by babyblues22 , Aug 26 '03
Pros: This smells very nice, and tastes good too.
Cons: Very messy to use.
This product is very difficult to use. It has to be a luke warm temperature, it says room temperatu ...

Best hair-removal product I used, but...

by Shoo , Aug 30 '01
Pros: Easy to use, not messy
Cons: expensive and not as good as it is said to be
When I first saw the commercial for Nad's No-Heat Hair Removal Gel, I was thrilled. So far, all the hair-removal products I tried (waxes, depilatories, bleaches, electrolysis, you name it)were not effective for me and I thought since this products is...

A little clueless down under!

by glitter2001 , Jul 01 '02
Pros: The less coarse hair was taken out but is now growing back.
Cons: Bruising and pain!
I bought Nad's expecting my hair to be gone and my skin to be soft and smooth. This did not do the trick. I tried Nad's a little over a week ago and I still have bruising up and down my legs. The bottom line is that this product really did not work. The...

HOMEMADE NADS??? worth a try!

by coltrane , Jun 19 '01
Pros: cheap! use ingredients in your fridge.
Cons: needs reheating, may hurt when spreading, australian woman yanking off your leg hair not included.
interested in using nad's, or already a diehard nad's fan? i found this recipe, so now you can make your own.

i've tried this, and i think your success depends on how much you apply, the type of cloth you choose, and how hot the mixture is....

Worked for me: fine, long hair on chest and lots of it.

by heysteve , May 21 '03
Pros: If you can take the pain, it'll take the hair.
Cons: Use in stages, 'cause it's gonna hurt.
It worked like it should work. It hurt, yes, but what would you expect? This isn't La-la Land. Pull one hair out. Sting? Yank out a few dozen, a few hundred. It doesn't get EVERY hair, you'll have to go back over some areas, but for me that was because I...

I thought I said UNwanted hairs!

by bceagle , Nov 28 '00
Pros: not too expensive for the results that are promised
Cons: time-consuming, doesn't remove all unwanted hairs, removes some wanted hairs, sticky mess
If you've ever lived with a group of girls you would agree with me when I say that girls always have something to complain about. I live with eight other girls who happen to have one common complaint - removing unwanted hairs - especially leg hairs...

Try it once please.

by vai72 , Jun 22 '01
Pros: No bad smell, washes off easily, doesn't hurt as much as wax.
Cons: Requires a thin layer and hair that is longer - about 1/4 of an inch.
After reading the opinions here I am quite shocked I must say. I have tried everything and nothing has worked half as good as Nads and is as easy to wash off.

My first trial with Nads was a few months ago when I realized i had too much facial...

Nads better than waxing and plucking

by emmwisdombus , Oct 07 '01
Pros: Nontoxic gel with great results
Cons: Takes practice, sticky, and does hurt a little.
The all-natural hair removal product, Nads, stands high above the hair removal systems of waxing and plucking.

Nads all natural formula is nontoxic to children and pets. It's no drip so you don't have to worry about it dripping into your eyes...

Stay away from this product

by inspiredlife , Jun 13 '04
Pros: None
Cons: severely painful, causes bleeding, ingrown hair, rashes
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I tried Nads on my lip, one leg and bikini line. Results: Lip: - removed some hair but not all, as painful as hot waxing, caused red rash Bikini: - severely painful, removed hair but had ...

Pain-free??? How about PainFULL!!!

by andinik , Aug 28 '01
Pros: Worked on my eyebrows
Cons: Only worked on my eyebrows
Apparently I'm just a sucker for infomercials. For several years I was greatly intrigued by the Nads infomercial that offered a painless and easy way to remove unwanted hair anywhere on the body. But as a college student, I didn't want to fork...

It really works!

by desertprincess , Mar 25 '02
Pros: Much cheaper than salon waxing, washes off, inexpensive, effective :)
Cons: Takes a few tries to get it right at first :(
I first tried NADS two years ago. I was just so fed up with shavings (nicks, stubble and rashes) hair removal creams (smelly, don't work) and spending a fortune having salon waxes. I used to have my bikini line waxed for $25 plus a tip, I really hated...

Never ever buy a hair-remover you first saw in an infomercial

by mara_m , Nov 03 '01
Pros: No pros - there is nothing special about it.
Cons: Not effective at all. Plus, a hassle.
For a long time, I fooled myself thinking I will never be one of those who follow tho motto 'seeing on the shopping channel is believing' and fall for a cheap TV trick. I would always laugh at my friends who a such-and-such useful thing on TV and spent...
