Pros: Big screen for flip phone, Very cool features, COLOR, COLOR, COLOR Cons: Drains your wallet, but would you expect it too be cheap?
Wow, what a phone!
When you get your i95 box, there is color all over it ... for good reason. It is the first color phone produced and distributed for the Nextel iDen network. While the phone carries a hefty price tag (retail price of...
Pros: Large color screen, external Caller ID, backlit buttons, SUPERB speakerphone. Cons: Recessed buttons (hard to dial quickly), button feedback could be improved, and slightly bulky.
Okay, so this phone is a little pricey, but it's intended for business customers who demand the latest and greatest. The i95cl by Motorola is indeed the latest and greatest. The large color screen is easy to read and makes the display a pleasure to look...
Pros: Speaker Phone, direct connect, largest color screen, easy to navigate & customizable menus Cons: Tiny voice dialing button, slightly larger than other flips hard to see in daylight
As Nextel owners for the past 6 years with our i1000s getting worn and tired it was time to look for new technology but we didn't want to spend $399 apiece for the i95cl when there were other phones out there for much less. For 11 days I tired the LG...
Pros: Look, Looks you get, capabilities and questions asked about the phone and service. Cons: Cost, battery life.
Let me start out by retracting my previous statement of the i1000 Plus being the sexiest mobile phone on the planet. I stand corrected. Although the i90c was/is a great phone, it was quickly outshadowed by the unveiling of the i95cl.
Pros: Large display, LOUD speaker, GREAT signal indoors and out Cons: Pricy from Nextel, short battery, no distinguishing b/w missed, dialed, and received calls.
This phone is the one to have, it has a very reliable service, picks up current signal fast as well as receiving VM from the network. Works much better indoors than most other cellular carriers phones due to the 800mHz iDen band. Easy to hear on and...
Pros: Large color screen, Lots of features, Direct connect feature Cons: Exterior scrapes, Battery life!!
I just recently upgraded to the i95 from the i90. The change was a very easy decision to make as the i95 offers many more features and a color screen. The phone can be personalized to your standards with personal backgrounds and ringtones of your...
Pros: Nice color screen, good flip phone, fun downloadables Cons: Too pricy
I sold my i1000 plus and got a used i90c, and lost it after a week. So I decided, I might as well spend the extra money and buy the i95cl since it was only a bit more than a replacement i90c would be.
Pros: Easy to use, Color Screen, Loaded w/ ringers, and screensavers. Cons: Expensive, Phone Book is poorly designed. Phone is a little large.
I purchased this phone about 2 weeks ago. I really enjoy it. It's a bit pricy, but Nextel was offering a great deal this month on the i95. The insurance deductable on this model is ridiculous. For $4.95 a month, if something happens to my phone I...
Pros: Great features, very durable, simple and easy to use. Cons: Rather big and bulky compared to other phones on the market.
With the FCC now allowing you to keep your previous cellular number, and switch to any provider you wish, I took this opportunity to get rid of my AT&T service of 4 years. I was and still am skeptical about leaving AT&T. And although im not sure if I ...
Pros: Color Screen, Small size, PTT option Cons: Battery life
The I95cl is an amazing phone. The color screen is vivid and attractive, the backlit buttons make it easy to call in the dark and the ring tones are also pleasing. The phone is lightweight, compact and comes with a belt clip. The one thing I do not like...
Pros: direct connect feature, color, many options and programs. Cons: pricy even with recent price drop, battery life, a little too large, sevice canbe frusterating.
This phone has been on the market for a little over a year now, and since it came out has had distin ...
Pros: Amazing features, great coverage, sturdy, good battery life, nice color screen. Cons: Nextel will nickle and dime you, it's pretty large, no graphical web browsing.
What do you want from your phone? I'm a bit of a gadget geek, so I wanted it all. I wanted text messaging, a large color screen, web access, AOL AIM access, Java-based games, you name it. So, I was willing to shell out the big bucks when it came to g ...
Pros: A ton of different features, as advanced a phone as you will find Cons: Expensive, mediocre battery life
How much is too much when it comes to a cell phone? Well, it depends what you are discussing. I would usually say that $400 is way to much to pay for any phone and, well, this is no exception despite the i95cl being a wonderful phone.
A Touch Of Sharp Class! by epinionated8 ,Sep 29 '03
Pros: LARGE color screen, customizable wallpaper & ring-tones, sharp appearance. Cons: Slightly pricey, I have found much pricier phones. Kind of bulky, low battery life.
I have had this phone for about a little over a month, and I couldn't be happier. It took a bit of convincing due to the price but I stand firm by the saying "you get what you pay for" and I enjoy having the best of the best.
I love the clear, crisp, and large color display. The blue front panel display is also very nice and convienent. You can customize just about everything on this phone, to make it totally your own. From ring-tones to wallpaper, to programming certain keys and voice dialing.
Volume and clarity is great, and no problems with speaker phone, the conversation is heard great on both ends. I am very satisfied with this phone. However there are two things I wish were alittle different. The battery life well is not satisfactory, never seems to stay charged for more than a day, I had a previous phone that stayed charged for 2-3 days atleast. Second is how thick this phone is, now maybe flip phones are normally this thick but I've seen slimmer ones and this one could slim down some.
Nextel's I95cl is a good phone however it is pricey. I have had mine for a year and a half. The only thing I wish were different is the thickness of the phone. This phone offers so many options to it. The internet is amazing on this phone. The games are a lot of fun and have great graphics. This phone is a small computer in itself.
