Just Got Back From a Three Mile Run and...

by mikegmi2 , Aug 09 '00
Pros: Light weight, great air pockets, look good too
Cons: have to be careful, can easily step on nail and ruin shoes

Honestly, I just got back from my normal running route and my feet have never felt better. My path takes me over rocks, grass, and cement. These Nike Air International Triax shoes seem to handle great over all kinds of terrain.

Internationally Satisfied

by NoRiCe4u , Oct 12 '00
Pros: Great fit, looks, hardly any wear
Cons: None
The first thing that caught my eye about these shoes was the style. (I have a slightly different style than the one in the picture) After noticing them and saying to myself "Damn, those are nice kicks!" I tried them on.

It's all about looking Good

by Jonathan , Sep 16 '99
Pros: Great cushioning, sweet style
Cons: Price - $90 is a bit steep for any footwear IMHO
Back in the day we had a phrase: "It's all about looking good." In jest of course, because in most endurance sports "looks" are as important as hair wax; it's all about performance. I was looking for a shoe sturdy enough...

The International Brought Me Back to Nike

by micmac , Mar 29 '00
Pros: Great Feel, Great Weight, Good Support and Control
Cons: Air Breaks down a little quickly, too narrow for some people
Nike makes the best running shoes for someone who logs a lot of miles and doesn't mind replacing their shoes a few times a year. As a college track and cross-country runner, I'm always looking for something that feels good for 60-70 miles a week. I...

Rock Solid!!

by oneofaty , Dec 14 '99
Pros: Look, comfort, stability
Cons: Air pocket pops
These shoe are good. If you haven't noticed yet I am a shoe freakazoid. I love shoes and especially Nike. I put in about 25-30 miles a week and these shoes are even better than the 95 Air Max Nike put out. The shoes seem to be getting better and the...

I dont really like this shoe

by vhylynx , Dec 28 '00
Pros: none in particular
Cons: not durable, "scratch-able", hard to clean
The shoe was my first nike, i bought it in my home city, Jakarta, Indonesia at april 2000.

I always liked the bubble sole of nike's shoes, they looked cool to me. I imagined that these bubbles would make the shoe more confortable than any...

The smooth shoe...

by booz8 , Dec 15 '00
Pros: Comfortable, good support
Cons: none
Nike is a great company and are only matched by their shoes. I run to keep in shape for football and I really like the Nike Air International Triax. I have a narrow foot and Nike seem to be the best for me. I had tried on Pumas, Adidas, and Asics, all of...

I Just Bought Another Pair

by erica_kim , Jan 07 '00
Pros: The design, comfort, weight, everything.
Cons: Sometimes the price can be trouble.
Ok these shoes are wonderful. I have had three pairs since they came out. I wear them where ever I go. These shoes are so comfy. I just fell in love with the design the first time I saw them. They had great cushioning, and nice colors too. I mean...

Great cushioned shoe

by Div1Runner , Jan 14 '00
Pros: Great cushioning
Cons: lacing system
I purchased this shoe because I was in need of a well-cushioned trainer and had heard some good things about the Triax from teammates. The best part about the shoe would have to be its very ample forefoot cushioning. I have not found a better shoe yet...

Excellent all-around running shoe

by kharrk , Jun 19 '01
Pros: cushy; light; comfortable; durable;
Cons: none
The Nike Air International Triax are one of my favorite running shoes of all time. Although they are marketed as a stability shoe, I feel they are the best stability/cushioned hybrids around. When they went on sale at my local retailer, I bought a...

works well

by David_Ludow , Nov 10 '99
Pros: lightweight, durable
Cons: Air bubbles tend to blow out
The International Triax has worked wonders for me. I do not know what Nike has done but these are the first shoes with an air bubble that I have not blew out. The shoes are great for cross training and the occasional race (cross country or road race)....

I'm a repeat buyer of this shoe

by garyo , Jun 01 '00
Pros: stability, cushioning, versatile
Cons: doesn't really excel in any one area
About 3 years ago, I finally found a great running shoe for me the Nike Air Max Triax. I run only 2-3 times a week for a total of about 8-12 miles/week. Even with that level of use, I'd have shoes fall apart on me and have a lot of problems with...

Nike's don't live up to their reputation!

by rabidbulldog , Oct 08 '99
Pros: you can wear them on your feet
Cons: they're Nikes...doesn't that tell you enough?
Nike has a good name, good style, and good logo. What they don't have is a good shoe...
My experience with Nike includes that of discomfort and easy wear and tear! I haven't had a shoe yet that wore out in such a short period of time!...
