Pros: small, lightweight, easy to setup. Cons: battery life is to short
The company I work for was looking for new Cellular Phones to replace our old phones. We have been using AT&T wireless for our old phones so they stuck with them to handle the service for the new phones. At the time AT&T offered the best coverage area in...

Pros: Good battery life; easy to find numerous accessories; lightweight; easy to use Cons: Occasionally seems to have trouble picking up my voice
My wife and I purchased a pair of Nokia 5160 phones as part of a “two-for-one” special offered by our mobile phone service provider (Bell Atlantic). Since the special offer was tied to a calling plan that was more beneficial to us, it was, as the saying...

Pros: The scroll buttons are nice. Well, I found something positive! Cons: This is a really bad phone
Words sometimes fail me when I attempt to describe the miserable experience I had using the Nokia 5160 for almost a year. One of the groups I manage has a need for cell phones, and the manager in that group selected these because they were free after...

Pros: Excellent reception; great array of features! Cons: None
Three weeks ago, one of my last personal bastions of resistance to technological change finally crumbled. On December 10, 2000, at precisely 3:54 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, I joined another hi-tech revolution.
I finally went...

Pros: Nice Design, Detachable face. Cons: No calendar, alarm, date book.
I previously owned a Nokia 6190. I loved that phone. But, through the ignorance and poor customer service of nearly everyone involved with Aerial (now Voicestream) I had to give my phone up. (See my Epinion on them at:...

Pros: Multiple Functions, Multiple Sounds, Great Reception, Cheap! Cons: Some of the functions take time to learn to use. No voice address book.
The Nokia 5160 I believe is still the best cell phone out there to date. I have found no reason to upgrade. I even upgraded once...and went back to my 5160 because I didn't like the new phone!
Let's start with the basic FUNCTIONS:

Pros: sleek, nice look and a great product Cons: None
My new Nokia 5160 is a very nice phone. I have written about my experiences with my carrier, AT&T wireless and have nothing but praise for them. Well, the same can be said for my new phone.
The Price
Can you beat free?!? My...

Pros: good phone Cons: keys a little small
This was one of the phones which came free with the wireless calling service my wife signed a contract for. Plenty of them cost extra, so I know this isn't the Cadillac of cellular phones - but who needs an oversized overpriced showboat?

Pros: lightweight, easy to use, nice style Cons: the plan I got to get the phone for free
My dad and I went shopping last Christmas for a cellular phone for my mother. We wanted to get her a phone where she could access her email from anywhere she wanted. Unfortunately, for my mother, this phone didn't have that feature (though my father...

Pros: Made for the worker, attractive covers Cons: chip design
The Nokia 5160 cell phone is certainly a popular choice these days when choosing a cellular phone. I mean who really can resist Gecko Green or Antigua Red coverings. Why settle for hum drum colors when I can add excitement and life to my little...

Pros: Clear reception, easy to use, lightweight. Cons: Took a while to learn all the menu's
Cell Phones Have Come a Long Way! Our first cell phone was big and heavy. I can't believe we actually used such a (now antiquated) phone! When we decided to get a smaller, modern cell phone, we bought a cheap Motorola for $39.00. Heck, the ...

Pros: compact, crisp clear sound, lots of extras Cons: if you want it to vibrate, you have to spend extra $$ on a vibrating battery
I got my new Nokia 5160 phone about a month ago and I wonder now how I ever got along without it (much like how I wondered how I ever got along without my computer). I absolutely love the convenience of having this little phone - my old pager was a big...

Pros: Small size can be stashed anywhere. Recharge is simple and fast. Easy to use. Cons: Key lock is just a tad on the 'iffy' side.
Finally, my very own cell phone!! Oh, the fun of sitting down and putting in my most frequently called numbers! The silly grin when playing the games! The reassurance of knowing that when I am away from my children, the sitter can always reach me!...

Pros: small lightweight feature filled Cons: didn't buy one earlier
I bought this phone because everyone I know has one and so I am familiar with them. The 5160 is an incredibly user-friendly phone with many great features. Though it is tiny, it will be your life saver. If you have a large or long face it may not be...

Pros: Light, Compact, Clear, User Friendly Cons: None!
In this day and age, it's nearly impossible to get by without a cellular phone. My Husband and I decided to take the plunge and get one of our own, as his company has a strict policy about personal usage on the phones they provide.
We did a...
