I had read the reviews on this product before deciding to purchase. Because the majority of the reviews were positive, I decided to give it a whirl. Could not find it at my Wal-Mart, but found it at Target. After applying it for several days, I haven't seen any tanning effect whatsoever. I am fair skinned, always told "you need to get a tan", and hesitant to wear shorts any time I leave my house. The claim that it "subtley" tans is right- it's so subtle, it was unnoticeable. And, I did follow the directions... I applied on dry skin after exfoliating in the morning after showering. Nothing. Want my money back! The one pro is, it's a good moisturizer even though I don't have dry skin.

I am a fair skinned brunette, burn quite easily, and tan lightly over the summer. When I came back from my first trip South, I had my first good tan and hated watching it fade. I have tried many self-tanners and find they are messy and require a big commitment to maintaining them. My skin is also mid-life dry. I do not sunbathe. With all this in mind, I came across this product and decided to try it. I Love it. I find it goes on easily and dries quite quickly. When I was applying it each day, I found I maintained a naturally tanned appearance with the added bonus of soft skin. Now that summer has passed, I use it twice a week and find that I have a light tanned appearance that is not orange or fake looking. I like the light, summery fragrance and do not find it oppressive as I did the Jergens product. I do find there can be some transfer of color to clothing but have had no problem removing it in the normal wash.

I bought this at a discounted price but I'm very satisfied, in fact, my bottle just ran out today. It makes skin very silky smoothe. I did notice that there is a negative scent sometimes and it may discolor your fingernails (it did discolor mine). But it does subtly tan the skin and it made my skin very radient.

I'd been searching for a store that wasn't sold out of Jergens Natural Glow, but since I was unable to find one I picked up a tube of Radiance Reviver instead. I got the Dry Skin version because that was the only one in-stock (and at the time I didn't know that a Normal Skin version existed).

I REALLY wanted to like this product--a moisturizer with a touch of self-tanner sounded like exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, even after using the lotion for five days in a row, my skin was no darker than when I began. (If I had read the reviews here sooner, and that most people notice a glow after the first use, I probably would have given up after only a few days.)

I don't know why it didn't work for me--my skin is pretty pale, so a touch of tan should have been noticeable. Sounds like most people have good results with it, so my experience was probably atypical. It was also somewhat sticky, but I did get the Dry Skin version when the Normal Skin version would have been more appropriate for summer weather.

After reading all the claims about the product, I was very excited about trying it. I put in on my body at 6:00 am, and by 11:00 am, I had hives under my armpits and on my elbows. By the end of day I was completely covered in them and now 2 days after first applying it, they are finally beginning to fade.
Not a good cream for sensitive skins!!

I went out and bought this product b/c of the great rating. I was quite dissatisfied when I applied the product over and over and there wasn't a bit of difference in color. No subtle color was ever achieved. This product hydrates very well, but for the outrageous price your better off getting a regular olay moisturizer for less money. I have fair to medium color skin and there was absolutely no difference in color after using this product!

I was out looking for Jergens Natural Glow, but it was all sold out. So I came across Olay Radiance Reviver for dry skin. I was like, "Sure, I'll try this." So I got home and put it on all over my body. It smelled really good and my skin kinda glowed right after applying. I have very pale skin and was worried about if it would make me orange or make me really dark. I wanted a little color, I didn't want to be brown.

The next day, I saw that I had a very light tan, comparing it to the areas I didnt put any on. It wasn't orange or streaky at all. It looked very natural, yet noticable. All my friends were like "You look tanner!" "Did you just get back from the beach?"

It made my skin very soft and made me look like I was just at the beach. It dries immedietly after you put it on and it doesn't come off on clothes or when you sweat. I am very pleased with this product and definetly recommend it to everyone.
