Pros: pretty, cooked fine
Cons: rack fell thru' to bottom burner not safe.

I had this oven and loved it even tho' the temps were not very consistant it did the job but it didnt live long.
The rack wears very fast and starts to fall on bottom burner in back left area of mount. It was too dangerous having it unsteady like that so in less then two mo's we had to return it to find the exchanged one was same but worse.

Pros: Easy to use controls. Self timer with bell. Easy to clean. Accurate temperature control.
Cons: Rather hot on the exterior when cooking. Be Careful.

The Oster 6293 is a great value for an entry level toaster oven with convection baking. I would not consider this unit for toasting primarily but it is excellent all around for baking, heating and occasional toasting. The oven reaches baking temperature very quickly. I have found the temperature settings and cook times very accurate.I use it daily and would highly recommend it for the price.
