Pros: Panasonic name, speaker phone on base AND handset, Good Range, Features Cons: Takes some getting used to, not that intuitive, no speed dial on handset
I have come to the conclusion that buying a phone these days is stressful. There are so many choices, features and price points.
I am from the old school in some ways, and cutting edge the next. For my phone, I don't want call waiting, I get...
Pros: Lots of features. Well thought out design in most cases. Solid build. Keypad on base. Cons: Call quality is poor. Outgoing answering system message is poor.
Lots of features is a nice thing, but I buy a phone primarily to use it for talking to people. Unfortunately, this Panasonic model falters badly when it comes to this most important task.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a big Panasonic phone fan. I...
Pros: lots of features, high quality hardware/construction, headset jack Cons: horrible call quality, no dedicated memory preset buttons
First, a bit about my situation... I work from a 12'x12' office and am on the phone approximately four hours per day. I recently moved from a corded phone to a cordless so I could move around the office more easily; I purchased this Panasonic so I could...
Pros: Speakerphone in handset and base, clear easy to read LCD screen Cons: Very poor outgoing recorded message and phone quality
My old Panasonic answering machine recently died and I purchased this phone to replace both the dead answering machine and my existing 900 Mhz cordless phone in an attempt to save some counterspace. I must say that I have always been very satisfied with...
Pros: Many features Cons: Sound Quality and Reception
This phone had every feature that I was looking for: Speakerphone and a keypad on the handset and base, a digital answering machine, and a hold and mute feature. Beyond that there is nothing good to say. The sound quality and reception are very average....
Pros: Good features. Speakerphone on handset. Cons: Terrible recording quality. Very short battery life.
I purchased this phone / answering machine several months ago. The recording quality was terrible but the feature set of the phone and price is was pretty reasonable.
But after using the phone for a few weeks it became apparent that the...
Pros: Nice looking, loaded with features, clearn answering machine....but Cons: horrid phone reception, loaded with static, returned 2 other phones.
This phone is very attractive and sleek, pretty silver color, and well put together, nice appearance...but that's where it ends. After returning 2 of the same phones to Costco, I took one more chance with this phone, hoping the others were just...
Pros: Listed features of the phone are of basic good quality. Panasonic makes good phones. Cons: SPEAKERPHONE and HEADSET capability problems.
This phone is great unless you need to use the HEADSET, which is the only way I use the phone. There is TERRIBLE, low volume, high-pitched noise, or feedback when using anything but the speakerphones. I could hear this noise even without the headset....
Pros: Like the speaker phone, I can talk on it from across the room. Cons: This is the worst phone the battery life is seconds rather than minutes.
I usually like Panasonic products but this phone has been an irritation from the day I bought it. I keep trying to give it a chance but I an on line now to purchase another phone (lost my receipt). From the day I brought it home, the battery has...
Pros: Features Cons: Sound Quality Returned this phone THREE times
We bought this phone and were thrilled with the features. Speaker on both base and handset, machine..etc.. That is why were so disappointed when we had to return this phone THREE times and had the same problem each time. After a month the sound...
Faulty charging and disappointing sound by kelpnut ,Nov 29 '04
Pros: Lovely user interface and ergonomics: large buttons, large handset, dual keypad, built-in answerphone Cons: Faulty charging system, poor range, poor sound quality
Charging problems have led to my replacing this phone. I used to love Panasonic phones but because of my poor experience with this one have given up on Panasonic. I bought the KX-TG2257 for the well-designed user interface: keypad on base as well as handset, large buttons, speakerphone, built-in digital answering machine, overall good ergonomics. However, the phone has been crippled by unresolvable charging problems. The handset dies quickly and unexpectedly. I have tried swapping out handsets, and have spent lots of money on new batteries to no avail. Polite help inquiries to Panasonic customer support have gone unanswered, whether by phone or email. Panasonic still has the best designs and ergonomics, but that doesn't help if the phone does not work.
Not a bad phone, battery life SUCKS and is AWFUL by sidmanm ,Sep 30 '06
Pros: no pros.
Cons: Battery life, battery life, battery life.
Stay away from this if you like to have conversations that go for more than 60 minutes. This phone has the lifespan of an Iraqi Republican Guard during the war. Too bad Panasonic couldn't figure this one out
