Pros: Very good picture, sound and build quality. Reasonable price. Cons: Very glitchy and will frustrate average users.

Better than PS3?
by bigfilm ,Feb 05 '09
Pros: Best built Best Image Cons: Price Vs PS3 is high But worth it
Bought this product because of Pioneer build quality.
Was not dissapointed. Fantastic 1080P/24 pic with HDMI once it loads up (takes forever about 1 min 30 sec from power up). New firmware will help to speed things up. Has Pioneer Reon chip inside that scales up 480i very well. Can also tweek with tons of user controls. 7.1 analog audio out for Dolby HD but will not output DTS HD YET! but new firmware will allow this soon (March 09). Also have a PS3 at home (kids) I think Pioneer looks better with movie content. PS3 still best bet outhere for price vs features. Pioneer is in use in our theater image size is 120' screen.
