Pros: One-stop shopping for personal information Cons: you (mostly) can do it yourself -- for less -- after the initial trial period
Most of the information in this review is based on my experience with their services before I found the web site. I'll update with additional information about services offered through the web site when I get it.
First, let's go over the list...

Pros: access to 3 bureau credit reports and more, such as dmv records and medical records Cons: inept customers service, high price
This is a service for people who want to get periodic credit reports, a dmv record, a medical record and to have your credit monitored. They alert you everytime someone looks at your credit or when there are changes to your credit report.
The...

Pros: Like all insurance it will come in handy if you ever need it. Cons: You'll never really know if they will pay your claim until you have one.
I have had a decent experience with customer service. Seemed very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions concerning the $10,000 in theft coverage. There are a lot of reports that you can get without going through them......but they do make ...

Changing the rules midstream!
by raymcgill ,Jun 03 '05
Pros: Good service. Good tech support. Cons: *** Once Monthly data only => bad deal ***
I also jumped at the old deal of 3 months for $1. Good deal. Like the service for my wife and I ($90 each). 2 years of service.
I pulled credit reports when working to repair errors. Yesterday, it the option to pull fresh report wasn't on page. I had seen that before but usually at night and though they were doing maintenance. NOPE. Changed the rules. You can only pull once a month.
If I wanted a max of 12 pulls, I would get them individually.
I demanded refund and cancelled both accounts. Now looking for better service.
Tech support was good. Availablility was good. New rules are unacceptable. Probably pressured by CRAs.

Don't get sucked in
by torco317 ,Oct 06 '04
Pros: None Cons: Bad customer service
Bad information management
I got involved with these guys because they offered it through my Citibank MasterCard. I went through the initial 90-day free trial and received a report in the mail. Nothing on the report was 'new' to me, and no information appeared to be anything I couldn't get very easily elsewhere. Within the 90-day trial period, I canceled my membership, at which time they gave me a 'confirmation number' (DON'T lose this number!!!).
My next MC bill featured their 9.99 monthly charge on it, which resulted in a call to Privacy Guard. Even though they had ALL my pertinent information handy ,they couldn't revert the charge without my confirmation number. Two months after my initial cancellation, they now claimed they never received my cancellation. Well, how did I have a confirmation number if I never canceled? Anyway, after 3 phone calls, the issue was resolved. The next month ,guess what? Another charge!! Another phone call...rude customer service, even though I was remaining calm. I think they were annoyed that I was pursuing their erroneous charges. Bottom line...stay away.

Why should a title be fifteen words long?

Pros: I absoloutely convinced that there are no redeeming factors in subscribing to this service. Cons: They promised to call back in 1/2 hr. That was several days ago.
I gave them my money and have received nothing from them including an email or phone call. I am notifying my bank that I don't appreciate their service.
