30 Watt monster...

by coachdante , Jul 11 '06
Pros: Brutal distortion, flanger and delay are mind-bogglingly awesome.
Cons: I encountered some tone issues with the acoustic modelling, your guitar MUST have good pickups.
I'm sick of it. My old recording amp is trashed, I'm strapped for cash and I'm sick of tap-dancing across a pedal board to acheive my desired tone. I've tried fixing the amp, nothing. Using less effects, it ruins my tone. Multi-effects processors? ...

Beginner's luck? No, not completely; I researched it.

by tomhorn , Jul 21 '03
Pros: Versatility and tone.
Cons: How much can you expect from a 30-watter?
This is my first amp. I looked around town (Austin, Texas) and online for a while, trying to see wh ...

For its size and price, It's great !!

by musician251 , May 27 '07
Pros: Small, light, powerful, affordable, toneworthy, need I say more?
Cons: I like to own more of these! More cubes, bigger smile !!
OK. I'll start by telling you that I play clean (Jazz stuff.) I never use distortion. I have played gigs for over twenty five years. Currently, the majority of gigs that I do, do not require high wattage amplifiers. The Roland Cube 30 fills the bill ...

Listen To The Music Baby!!!

by mdbeebe , Mar 05 '04
Pros: Price, Sound, Durability, Price.
Cons: Output to a cabinet would be nice.
Quality: What can you say? This thing is packed with features and even if I'm not using them, I know they're there if I need or want to. Output to a cabinet would be nice but hey I'm not going to complain for I payed for it. Quality: ...

NICE BUT TO SMALL
by anguuus ,Jul 23 '05
Pros: Great sound, looks, setting its a quality digital amp
Cons: clean is dodgy but you can fix that with tone settings on your guitar
I was out looking at amps and i was saving for a stack of some type, i saw this little ROLAND amp i wasn't going to buy it but ROLAND are quality so i just started playing some store guitars through it. It sounded great, i went to the store guy and i asked him if i could get 100 watt or a 200watt version of this and i quikely found out you couldent get one so i got this one because it sounded great and i hate saving.

this is a great versitile digital amp, it has 2 channels clean and dirty, clean sounds a bit dodgy but dirty is fantastic, it has a metal setting which is meant to sound like a marshall stack it kinda does, r-fier (my favourite) sounds like a messa boogie amp has a classic which i dont know what its meant to sound like but its kool. if your still just playing at home or rehearsing with a small band its fantstic it was stupid of me to buy a 30 watt amp but i couldent resisit. ROLAND MAKE A STACK VERSIAN OF TIS AMP OR A COMBO PLEASE
