Pros: Cute, cute voices. Cons: Don't work well, very frustrating, loud.
My husband has a definite thing for robots of any sort, and he's trying - with some success - to sell my son on them as well. So, when we came across two of these robots (Bitor, and another whose name I don't know) for $3 a piece at a thrift store, my ...
Pros: It comes with the three (3) AG13 Button Cell batteries. Cons: FRUSTRATING! Too many cons to list, but they are contained in the review!
MY LIFE WITH RUMBLE ROBOTS.....Prior to the Christmas shopping season, I had my boys out on a shopping trip. We ran across the RUMBLE ROBOTS. My 10 year old son at that point decided that he needed one of these, which was soon echoed by my 3 year old...
Pros: Cool concept Cons: Poor execution of concept -- they simply do not work as advertised
My 8-year-old son is a BattleBots fanatic, and he had seen many commercials advertising Rumble Robots and wanted a pair. My wife and I saw the commercials, and thought that they were over the top in portraying how easy and fun these toys would be, and...
Pros: I'm so angry right now, I can't think of any Cons: uses too many batteries, don't work that well, have to re-swipe cards
Well, Christmas has come and gone, and generally I feel pretty good about this seasons purchases. I say generally because I made the gross mistake of buying Rumble Robots for my seven year old son. These toys are completely stupid!(for lack of a better...
Pros: Really Really Fun and innovative!!! Cons: Without the Gold Card or Diamond Card you may get tired of swiping
I purchased three (3) of these little guys (Bolt Man, Me-Fisto and Clamster) for three (3) kiddies aged 5,7 and 8. I read all of the previous reviews, and even went to the company website and downloaded all instructions on these toys and so I was fully...
Pros: Brightly Colored, fun expressions Cons: Swipe cards get shabby, no way to replace
I am so disapointed with this purchase, I bought them for my boys aged 7 and 8, who loved them, apart from what has already been said about batteries the swipe card scenario is a nightmare, constant reswiping, until the card gets too scruffy and I...
Pros: They look cool Cons: They are practically worthless
A huge disappointment to kids
Basically, They're a rip off. Every kid wants one until he has one. My 7 yr.old son got one for Christmas & got bored & frustrated after about 15 minutes of trying to get the thing to work right. He's only tried to play with it once since Christmas,...
Pros: Great fun! Friendly taunts, good way to release BattleBots-fueled angst Cons: Batterymunchers, line-of-sight control, boring unless you're really into them.
After my hyped little brother bought these and tore them out of their darn-near-impossible-to-open packaging, we swiped our "battle cards" and charged at each other. My brother's robot, "Me-Fisto" whooped on my "Bitor" because of his massive punching...
Barcode scanner won't work by chuckr30 ,Dec 30 '03
Pros: Sounds like a good concept Cons: Barcode scanner very difficult to use, uses lots of batteries quickly
I feel compelled to warn people not to buy these robots. Not only are they hard to use, but the phone number has been disconnected as has their website.
First, like the other reviewers said, they use a lot of batteries. Second, we tried for 30 minutes to scan the first card, at various speeds, and only got the error message "No good. Try again." It seems the barcode scanner is very finicky.
Since we could not get the first robot to work, I cannot review on its performance. But be warned, the telephone number is disconnected and the website is gone.
