In searching for a small chain saw to clean up my property with I narrowed it down to the Echo and The Stihl. Hope Depot sells the Echo for $199. The same price I paid for the Stihl. The dealer assembled it, filled it with gas and oil, ran it through a break in and readjusted the chain. The Echo from home depot came in a box requiring assembly. The dealer walked me through starting and maintaining the saw.
I got the saw home and immediately went work trimming some trees that had blown down in a storm. I was impressed by how powerful the saw was and also how light it is. This saw could be used all day without fatigue.
