OK, this is a great monitor, and it is suitable for photo editing. There is not a problem with off axis viewing. Who views a monitor off axis. You are siting right in front of it while editing. Common sense people.

Text is good and color are very deep compared to my other 22 inch way brighter more room. Very happy with this upgrade.

Brightness don't hurt your eyes like my other monitors.

I thought 22 inches was enough but 24 inch looks better on everything cost is down now paid $399.00 plus a $30.00 rebate at this time. Gives me a nice monitor for $369.00.

Rebate at Samsung stores chosen. Like 10 of them now. Scanning Google says on the pdf. doc. the monitors to get from the stores.

I had this monitor bought for me as a gift, and needless to say I've enjoyed every minute of it. It's an extremely large screen, bigger than my mini-LCDTV. It's got a crystal clear resolution, and is very bright for those with bad eyesight. If you're looking for a high-quality monitor, this samsung is the way to go.
