Pros: Ideal upgrade for portables, equally at home on Desktops, also available in white for iPods. Cons: One needs to carefully adjust them on the head/ears to get it to sound right.
Quality portable headphones in todays age have a lot more importance compared to say just a few years back. We did not have the iPods, MP3 players, portable DVD players, portable gaming machines, state of the art and cutting edge multimedia laptops ...
Pros: Sound quality, comfort Cons: Very confusing to fold and store.
For the first three years I used an iPod, I used the little white earbuds that Apple bundled with it. I never used my iPod very often, and never for more than half an hour or so at a time at the gym. When my old iPod died and I got my new ...
Pros: Good sound, comfortable, good noise cancellation, great case Cons: folding design has flaws, cord could be longer.
This Xmas, I got a few nice gifts from my parents - including a new set of headphones for my iPod/PC/stereo. I was looking for a decent pair that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and had picked up a pair of Sony MDR-Q22LP headphones to replace the failing ...
Pros: Nice design, Carrying Case, Soft padding, Great sound, Compact size, and durable. Cons: Takes about two weeks to break-in and Takes awhile to get the correct fitment.
These headphones were recommended to me by many audio forums. They are known to be very good for their size. These are my first real headphones. Before I knew about good headphones I would only go for the cheapest thing available. I didn't really care ...
Pros: Beautiful powerful sound from small package, Closed-ear design, Looks sleek, Sensibly priced Sennheiser. Cons: Slight distortion at very low levels when played at high volumes.
Ahah, Sennheiser, audiophiles expect the best from them and they have never failed to deliver; Well most of the time anyway!
The PX 200 is a beautiful looking and sounding testament to the legendary Sennheiser namesake. It looks sorta flimsy...
Pros: Good sound for the price. Foldable, very light and portable. Cons: Construction a little sketch. Tradeoff in sound for closed design.
I picked these up a few months ago because my Grado SR-60's just didn't work for commuting. I got them for around $50US everything in, which is a steal considering they retail for $100CAN before tax. My primary purpose in getting these was for ...
Pros: Sleek design, great sound output, full bass Cons: Relatively expensive, but an easy compromise for the quality.
I am in no way an Audiophile, but I am able to discern between qualities of sound. I've used many different headphones in my time, both open and closed styles, and Sennheiser always tops the list for quality. Design The PX-200 model ...
Pros: Foldable, efficient, carry case with cable manager. Cons: Awful, unbalanced sounding.
The PX200 certainly look better than they sound. Those are small, mini-size, supra-aural (against-the-ear) headphones. Sealed. With miniature cushions, which seem to be the part of design that is flawed. First off, the part that usually worries ...
Pros: Plays loud with sound card outputs and portable music players due to extraordinary high efficiency Cons: You can as I did unnecessarily pay over $20 extra for these headphones. Shop Around!
I found the Sennheiser PX-200 headphones an ideal solution to a difficult problem of matching a high performance headphone capable of high volumes with good noise isolation, to a low signal power output as found coming from most portable music players ...
Pros: Great Sound
Block out sound from surroundings
price is reasonable
great purchase Cons: I can't wear 2 pairs at once?
I always hated to take the plane until I got these headphones. They block out the sound from around you and have much better sound than any other headphones on the market in this class. I LOVE THEM!!!
Dramatic Sound for a very good price by drwombat ,Dec 30 '04
Pros: Weight, foldability, case, great bass, great sound quality. Cons: Folding can be difficult in a hurry with wrapping the cord.
Prior to getting these headphones, I did a lot of research. I looked at earbuds (which I hate from a comfort standpoint), folding in-ear headphones (which I found had no bass), standard foam-cushioned headphones (also, no bass, and felt loose) ... I really was shopping for a set of headphones that would travel well (i.e. folding), have good bass (yea, right), and cancel some external noise so I could use them on a plane, in the gym with lots of other noise, etc etc.
Then I found these. WOW. I'm VERY impressed. They have the same clarity of sound and bass as my regular home headphones, collapse, fit my ears snugly, fit tightly and don't slide off, come with a hard case, and are small enough I don't feel ghetto when I'm at the gym with them.
Pros: Lightweight, Good Sound Cons: Carry Case is difficult to reload
Excellent set of headphones! I bought these because I travel a great deal and need something good for long plane flights. These really fit the need. Only problem is that the case is hard to use. When I put the phones back in the chord has slack (where there are 2 separate wires for the two sides) no matter what I do. I avoid using the case.
