Pros: Hot water and ibuprofen are available to ease the pain in our backs Cons: Comfort, price, customer service
We slept on a Simmons Beautyrest for 15 years, and up until the last few months, we were quite comfortable. When we went to buy a new mattress set, the salesman told us that we might fare better with a Serta Perfect Night, because the support is great ...

Pros: The original mattress felt comfortable for about three months. It was very aesthetically pleasing. Cons: The mattress set was expensive and sagged within a very short period of time.
My husband and I purchased the Serta Perfect Night Bravura King pillow top mattress set with memory foam for $1700 and was told it had a non-prorated 10 year warranty and was the best Serta mattress at the time. Within a year, the box springs were ...

Pros: Extremely comfortable ~ for a little while. Cons: Warranty is completely useless if you actually use your mattress.
We bought a Serta Perfect Sleeper in 2005 from a local furniture store. We had talked in depth with the sales person trying to figure out the best mattress for two heavy people. The sales associate ASSURED us that the Perfect Sleeper would be perfect ...

Pros: Unbelievably comfortable, and sits high off the ground Cons: uncertain durability
I'm young, fresh out of college, and had money to blow. So I purchased the Perfect Night, mainly because I went through high school and college on a Perfect Sleeper with few complaints. First night I slept on the bed I didn't even wake up for 14 hours ...

Pros: I do love the feel of a latex mattress. Cons: DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DO "NOT" MAKE THE BEST MATTRESS IN THE WORLD!!!!
I owned a Serta mattress/box spring for almost 15 years and LOVED IT. So much so that I didn't think twice about buying a new one in December 03. I didn't even consider any other brand----WHAT A MISTAKE!. Had a price in mind of $1,200 and ended up ...

Pros: Comfortable for the first 3 minutes Cons: Expensive, saggy, no support, too squishy, ditches & ruts, & KILLS YOUR BACK!!
Our old mattress (Sealy) lasted us over 10 years but we made an impulse decision to buy the Serta because it felt so comfortable in the store and the material looked plush. It didn't take more than 1 1/2 months for us to start feeling the sag and dips. ...

Pros: There are no Pros to justify buying a Serta mattress. Cons: Sagged 2.5 inches in LESS THAN 2 months!!!
If you are considering buying a Serta mattress, you are going to want to take a look at the pictures I have posted at http://sertasucks.hopto.org first. We purchased our Serta mattress from JCPenney (it was made at the Serta plant in Vacaville, ...

Pros: Nothing Cons: P.O.S.
We purchased a Queen Set ($900)- firm. After a few months we started getting bad sagging...our backs were killing us we were (30 & 31) at the time. We paid $35 for someone to come out and look at it and then tell us we would get a replacement. In ...

Pros: very nice for about a year Cons: repair warranty, not replacement warranty
My husband and I purchased a new Serta mattress and loved it for about a year and a half. Then it slowly developed a 4 inch sag in the middle. We had the Serta inspector out to determine it was defective. Then the nightmare began. It took Serta 2 ...

Pros: Pretty covering Cons: Worn out after 3 months. Big buck$, Jiggles like jello, Disposal problems.
Within 3 months of purchasing the new Perfect Nights Mattress there were permanent craters in the mattress that disrupted sleep even though we turned the mattress very regularly. In less than a year the indentations were so deep that we couldn't sleep...

Pros: None! I can't believe we spent $1200 on this piece of crap. Cons: No durability.
We bought a Serta King-sized, firm mattress last May 2003 after sleeping on a Simmons pocketed coil mattress for over two years. The Simmons was wonderful, probably the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, but it started to develop very deep ...

Pros: Nice cover fabric Cons: No support, like sleeping in a sinkhole
This pillowtop queen mattress has no support. You immediately roll to the middle of the mattress and spend your night trying to crawl back to a side. Absolutely no back support. Our backs are killing us and the Serta Warranty is non-existent!! A...

Pros: Lives up to all the hype. Cons: Requires special sheets. Even queen with 20" deep pockets will not fit my queen.
I bought a queen with a pillowtop for 2k. I got the belleview model if that helps. This mattress is the most comfortable thing I have ever experienced. None of the other brands at the store came close and now that I have the bed at home, I have been...

Perfect night? High Quality? Not this brand.
by BOSSC351 ,Dec 10 '06
Pros: Feels great when new. Cons: Bed CRATERS horribly after a few months.
We purchased this bed in 2005 from Havertys because we needed a bigger bed than we had. We found this Perfect Nigh Cherwood with what seemed to be a great warranty and a decent price. The bed was very comfortable and seemed to be what we were looking for.
Well, we purchased the bed and had it delivered. After a few months of sleeping on it we found the seams on the pillow top were failing and had already exposed on one corner. We called Havertys and of course it took about 2 months to get a replacement.
What I also realized was that the bed began to dip on both sides where we slept. Not a small dip, I mean more or less a CRATER. The new bed has been no different. I am unable to sleep on the Serta now because of the back pain it causes me. I have resorted to sleeping on the old bed now just to be able to sleep without pain. NEVER again will I purchase a SERTA

Not a Perfect Night
by vleyden ,Jan 03 '08
Pros: It fits the bed frame Cons: Sags, uncomfortable, causes pressure points and is a total waste of hard earned money
This is the absolute worst mattress that I have ever owned. Serta will not honor THEIR warranty, the mattress sags and in general is just not comfortable to sleep on. My husband and I now have to shell out more money to buy a mattress to go along with the $3000 box springs we purchased. I will never purchase another Serta product again, nor would I recommend this bed to my worst enemy. Don't buy it. It's a waste of money and your back will pay and pay!
