I bought the CFM-30TW thinking I could use it to play audiotapes at night using earphones. The Sony website even shows earphones optional accessories for this model, although it never came right out and listed it as having the capability among its product specs. So, I was disappointed when I found no place on the radio anywhere where I could plug in earphones. BIG problem for me. Otherwise it's a nice radio that also lets you get TV signals (not cable/sat.) and the weather band.
