by pspark Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Feb 20 '03
Pros: Easy to use, works at night, mpeg movie recording, size, memory works well with VAIO.
Cons: Spendy accessories (memory, case, battery).
I bought my DSC P9 in Kuala Lumpur in January 2003. I paid about 440USD for a new model. Not a bad deal. I am a newbie when it comes to digital cameras, but the technophile in me gravitated to the DSC P9. I've found it a breeze to use and am very...

what a difference a few years makes...

by monky213 , Aug 10 '02
Pros: Small size, 4 Megapixel resolution, 3 flash settings, 2:3 ratio for perfect 4X6 prints
Cons: noise in low light situations, doesn't remember flash setting, poor warranty and customer service
I want to start off by saying that I am in no way a photography expert. My motivation for buying a new camera was to photograph a new addition to our family. In the past, I've relied on my trusty 35mm camera for our basic needs (vacations, family get...

Overall, I don't have any complaints with this digital camera (except one which I will expound on later). I have owned a Canon Digital Elph which I got rid of within months to be replaced by this camera. I am a surgeon and do take pictures of interesting ...

Pros: Compact, almost fool proof, being able to focus in the dark
Cons: Doesn't remember flash setting
