Pros: Monster 15x zoom, image stabilization, wide angle, new battery system improves performance Cons: Price, size, Sony camera-only Memory Stick Duo
The mega-zoom cameras by Sony (H1, H2, H5) suffered from slow operation because of the use of two AA batteries. The new H-series cameras are supposed to change that with the use of proprietary Li-Ion batteries. The update on the ...
Pros: It's pictures turn out amazing. Cons: It isn't the most attractive.
The ultra-zoom segment of the digital camera market is expanding as consumers seek more than the standard compact 3x lens and lust for the double digit optics. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H7 will satiate zoom cravers with its 8.1 megapixels and 15x optical ...
Pros: Great all around digital camera with loads of features at an affordable price. Cons: Proprietary battery (why not AAs) & Awkward grip.

Pros: The Sony H7 powers up and takes multiple pictures VERY FAST! Cons: The worst thing is the "purple Fringing" when I zoom in on the photo.
The Sony H7 powers up and takes multiple pictures VERY FAST! Has good photo quality for what it is (not SLR). Works well in low light w/o flash compared to most other cameras in it's class. The Macro setting is the best, like SLR, 1cm. Face ...
Pros: 15X zoom Cons: Cannot delete pictures as quick as I'd like.
I've had this camera for over a week. I've only found one thing that I don't like about it! I love the 15X zoom. It takes really great pictures. You can view them right there on the camera in a slide show and choose what music you want in the background! ...
Pros: Picture quality, manual better than most in class, lots of zoom, great -without flash- quality. Cons: Should be easier to delete pictures, processing speed with loaded memory stick.
I've used it for outdoor nature photography, and for regular parent/family type stuff, and for the outdoor stuff I'd give it an A, not an A just because of bulkiness, but the main point is the picture quality is superior, and the screen has less glare ...
Excellent camera for the price! by prneyes3 ,Jun 01 '08
Pros: The battery lasts a long time. It turns on very quickly and takes fast pictures. Cons: It requires a special battery, so your out of luck if it runs dead.
Overall I really enjoy the camera. It does have manual settings which is great, but there are also point and shoot settings. You are able to add an additional lens, which I love. Taking pics in bright sunlight is sometimes difficult, causing you to have to change your angle slightly. I can't add additional flash.
