Pros: 60-CD capacity, Sounds Great!! Cons: CD's get jammed sometimes
The Sony MHC-GS200 is a great idea. But the 60-CD turntable malfunctions sometimes. One advantage of the 60-CD changer is that if you have the turntable full of CD's you can program the display to name what the cd is. For example, if you have POD in slot...

An exceptional value

Pros: Powerful, crisp and a great buy Cons: none
The Sony GS200 60 disk CD system caught my eye because I had never before seen anything quite like it. A bookshelf unit that holds up to 60 cd's! So I decided to turn it on see what it could do right there at the store. The sound was very impressive. I also noticed there was a tape deck on the top of it and of course the tuner, which is expected. Needless to say I was so impressed that I walked out of the store with it. I do not regret this at all and it has replaced the much larger/cumbersome component stereo I had. It handles the same tasks as my component system, such as I can put my TV, DVD, VCR or whatever else I want through the system. I am thoroughly pleased with this system and recommend it to anyone.

As with other sony products...

As with other sony products I have owned in the past I expect quality and this system delivers that. The game system feature is what attracted me to the system at first and when I play the games in stereo with the surroundsound feature it gets me that much closer to being in the game. The music sound better also, its hard to describe the quality but it sounds like I paid for front row tickets with every CD I buy.
