Pros: Easy to use and light to carry around. Cons: Downloading the still photo's from the camera memory stick is a pain.
This is the first video camera I purchased that used DVD to record on instead of VHS or Tape. The reason I bought this camera was to make it easier to have all my video's on one type of format and get rid of all those old VHS tapes piling up in the ...
Pros: Easy to use. Cons: C13:00 error. Grainy image in moderate light. Poor reliability.
We bought this handy-cam on Amazon for nearly $900 including shipping. It was Mothers day gift for my wife. She was very excited about the Bluetooth feature that would allow us to record our daughter’s school plays etc. in 5.1 surround. Did not get to ...
Pros: nice small size, durable, easy to use and sounds is good Cons: price, touch screen not calibrated correctly, not able to record on video on memory stick
I purchased this camera because my old camera was lost on a plane going to Hawaii, and I wanted to get something that did not have tapes. Ideally I wanted a hard drive instead of a mini DVD, but those were too expensive. I also wanted to stay with Sony. ...
Pros: Video and 5.1 Surround sound are crystal clear. Cons: Needs more Zoom power especially optical. Low light shooting has focal problems.
Bought this camera several weeks ago and have found it amazing. I have always been skeptical about buying anything Sony and felt that you paid too much just because it said Sony. The video images and sound are incredible. It has an automatic lens cover ...
Pros: Size Cons: Service!!
The picture software that comes with the camera does not have much functionality.
This is the first review I have written. The picture quality of this camera is good, but the customer service could not be WORSE. I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with difficult to understand service representatives (I really tried to understand them). Day 1 - I talked to a supervisor after two conversations with representatives. She said that my problem would require level 2 support and they were closed. She said that if I provided my event id that I would be transferred to the level 2 support. Day 2 - I called back the next night and tried 3 times to reach the level 2 support. The first person claimed to be level 2 support, but lied. Person 1 took me through the same things I had done the day before. The next person hung up and finally I gave up after the third person tried to walk through the same procedures. I also tried the chat option on their website. After 15 minutes I gave up trying to use this method. It took 3-5 minutes between questions from the person on the other end.
Pros: Easy to use, very nice picture quality Cons: expensive
Well.. we know nothing about cameras and this one truly has an easy button that remind me a lot of office max ads, we just press the button and you are in automatic mode and the camera literally takes care of everything. I know there must be better ones out there with the zooming features and all, but this one is excellent for people who know nothing about taking pictures, just like us!
Pros: Takes pictures, lens attachments, beautiful widescreen video and sound is great!!! Cons: Price, was kinda expensive, I paid around $900
I've had this since June 2006, This videocam works fine, Widescreen video is beautiful, and dvd pops right out and can go into any DVD player to watch. Nightvision works great, also takes pictures using a memory stick duo.
