Pros: Extremely comfortable
Cons: Bad reception, bad sound quality, too much interference. Stay away from this product.

This is my fist wireless headset, and I am very disappointed with it. The sound quality is mediocre at best, the reception was horrible.

Pros: Quality of sound, ease of use, soft earphones, automatically turn off.
Cons: Not really heavy, but lighter would be nice.

I don't know if there is a difference between the RF970R, which I have, and the RF970RK, but the ones that I have work great. I can watch TV with the set on mute while my wife reads, or we can watch together and I can turn up the sound so that I can hear everything that is said. The quality of sound is good, I had no trouble hooking the headphones up, and I have even recommended them to other family members. Before I received these as a Christmas present, my wife would leave the room when I watched TV because I had the sound up too high. These headphones turn on automatically when you put them on and turn off when you remove them. They feature stereo sound which is really cool when a program or movie can be heard in stereo. Thank you, Sony, for a great product!

Cons: Headset controls a little too subtle; falls off cadle too easily

The reception was spotty at best, lots of 'snapping' in the audio when first installed in my system. After about a year, the 'snapping' is still there but now the reception just turns off within a few minutes of use and there is nothing - absolutely nothing. Put it back on the 'rack' and try the next day - sameo sameo. Expected more from a Sony product.
