Sony SS-B3000 Main / Stereo Speaker

Pros: Great sound, cool black look, great price for the sony name, bass is solid
Cons: Spring clips in back, black plastic simulated wood may annoy some people.

I am a college student and needed a good pair of speakers. These speakers are great. The bass can shake the floor if you want it to, and music sounds great. I only paid 80 dollars for these speakers and hooked them up to my very nice pioneer receiver. They are great for main speakers. I recommend these speakers to anyone wanting to enjoy some good quality music or just add some speakers to their tv. The only thing that wasn't great is that the wire connectors on the back are just spring clamps, but that really doesn't bother me. The cabinets look cool to me, but the black plastic woodgrain may annoy some people. These speakers are kind of big. They are more like medium-small floor speakers than bookshelf speakers. I like the bigness though.
