Pros: none Cons: Uncomfortable, Sagging, waste of money!!
Bought a spring air back supporter for over $1500, three days later, my husband (195lbs) and me (150lbs) were each sleeping in their own valley with a camels hump between us... this mattress needs to have a warning label on it and Spring Air should ...

Pros: quality construction, good price Cons: too firm
We were looking to buy a new mattress. I did lots of research and found that I liked the Spring Aire best. Yes, there are lots of other quality brands out there, but none are constructed like Spring Aire. The most surprising thing I learned, though, ...

Pros: comfortable for 1 year tops Cons: cheap material, the warranty is a hassle, doesn't last
the first impression of this bed is that it is irresistibly comf

Well get to know the bed a lil better over a period of a year and it completely deteriorates. Now I am sleeping in a trench! Even when Im not on my ...

Pros: none Cons: Can do serious damage to a bad back, and can make a healthy back hurt!!
In March of 2004, my now husband purchased a Spring Air pillow top Cal King bed, in anticipation of our May 2004 wedding. At first, he thought it was great --- but , as soon as the bed had to hold two people, it began to sink. My ...

Pros: absolutely none Cons: wobbly, no support, hump in the middle, an outright disaster
Like so many others I only discovered this website when it was too late. A shame as the majority of the reviewers got it perfectly right and I am amazed how a company can still be in business with so many lemons out there, which by the way cost quite a ...

Pros: The mattress was like 16'' high and LOOKED wonderful. Cons: Minimal support; Regular sized sheets don't fit on it!
I was transitioning my daughter (3yrs. old) from a toddler to a big girl bed and I wanted something that would last and also provide lots of back support. My husband and I take turns laying down with her a few hours at night and it was extremely ...

Pros: Great showroom presence and initial feel. Cons: Serious structural flaws mar the product and destroy customer value.
Describe your experience using this product. At first, in the showroom and the first few months, it was good. Unfortunately, this was not to last. After about 6 months of use, this queen sized bed collapsed in the middle, forming a kind of giant ...

Body Impressions after 9 months
by inasmuch ,Sep 20 '03
Pros: None Cons: If you lie on it, it will sag
Do not buy this mattress! After just 9 months there is a very noticeable ridge between us down the middle of the bed. Rotating at this point is not correcting the problem. The first line of warranty papers says "Body Impressions Not Covered." Save yourself a lot of money and consider a different brand.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! We had deep body impressions after only 3 weeks
by cloudland ,Dec 22 '06
Pros: I can't think of a single one. Cons: Bad body impression in pillow topper.
This was the biggest disappointment! We thought that because of the name brand and the large price tag that we were getting a quality mattress. Wrong! After only 3 weeks of sleeping on our new king size bed there were miserably deep body impressions on both sides of the bed. We exchanged it for a new one of a slightly different style and the exact same thing happened.
I would never recommend this mattress to anyone. We have had to suffer back pain and stiffness because we can't afford to throw this set away and go out and buy a new one.

Horrible Mattress!
by tylerjparker ,Sep 06 '09
Pros: None Cons: Horrible back support
We have been sleeping on our Spring Air "Back Supporter" Mattress for a year and a half now. Don't be fooled - it does not support your back AT ALL. We wake up most mornings with back pain, probably because of the deep indentations under our rears. We are not large people - 160 pounds and 110 pounds. If we just look at our mattress without even laying on it, we see the deep indentations and the large hump between them. There is no support going on here!

Wretched mattress -- no "BACK SUPPORT"
by choosy_mom ,Sep 14 '04
Pros: Nice looking mattress Cons: hideously uncomfortable
This bed was purchased as a GUEST BED only -- I would estimate it has been slept on fewer than 200 nights in 5+ years. But it is so uncomfortable, guests would rather sleep anywhere else (including the floor) than on this bed.

Pros: None Cons: Supports gives away after time. Company does not back their warranty honestly.
My King Size Spring Air Back Supporter Bed, after a year or so, my side sinks atleast 4 inches. Its a bit hard in the morning to get out bed, especially since i have had lower back surgery. I called the Matters Giant company in Altamonte Springs where I purchased it from, but they do not honor the warranty. I was told to call the company. Spring Air Back Supporter
by poolgirlbob ,Jan 24 '04
Pros: None Cons: Foam has no memory. Sides sag. Very uncomfortable.Do not purchase!!!!
We purchased this mattress in Sept. '03. By 12/03, we had valleys where our bodies lay. There were sagging spots on the sides, and a large hump in the middle. Our backs were killing us, and we awoke several times throughout the night to adjust and get comfortable. This week, the seller replaced our mattress with another, and when it arrived, there was a rise on one side of the bed, of at least 3-4 inches, where the top layer had actually separated from the bottom layer. We are frustrated and disgusted. We hope to return this type and purchase a different brand.

Sleeping on Cloud 9
by meyaleal ,Jan 21 '04
Pros: many Cons: Fitted sheets just aren't big enough for it
I have had this be for 3years and I absolutely love it. The pillow top adds great comfort to my back and my husband and I can't seem to take a vacation because we don't want to sleep anywhere else. I'm actually looking to buy two more.

Nice, for a few months. Then, what back support?
by flyfsnbrad ,Jan 29 '04
Pros: Initial short lived comfort Cons: Lack of back support, Poor durability
We bought a Back supporter millenia about a year ago. The first few months were very comfortable. We were looking for a new mattress primarily because My lower back had been bothering me on the older matterss we were sleeping on. My girlfriend really loved the matress, and to it's credit, still does. I wish I felt the same. Now I look foreward to the hotel beds I sleep on a few nights a week, because they are so much better for my back. After a few months the matress begen to sag in the areas we slept. I understand there will always be some sagging, but this is excessive. We have been very good about turning the mattress. I don't understand how they can call this a "back supporter". When lying down you butt sinks too far into the mattress seemingly creating an arch in my back and utter lack of "back support".
