Pros: Moisturizes and cleans very well; tons of bubbles/lather; smells great; no animal testing; inexpensive Cons: Just one scent available
Last year when I discovered St. Ives Whipped Silk Intense Body Moisturizer, I was thrilled with it. It's a really great body lotion that sinks into the skin completely and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I use it from time to time, but not every da ...

Pros: heavenly scent, relatively easy to blend into skin, nice light lotion for summer months Cons: inadequate moisturizing properties in winter months

Whipped Silk is addicting!
by melli33 ,Apr 02 '05
Pros: smoothes dry skin, smells great, scent lasts Cons: not quite as moisturizing as it could be
This lotion not only features a pleasant, long-lasting fragrance (I own the one called "Pure White Silk"), it also moisturizes and smoothes my dry skin. The only minor thing I would want is for the moisture to last as long as the fragrance.

Silky smooth
by turbo6 ,Jul 30 '05
Pros: Lathers, cleans, and leaves skin smooth Cons: Consistancy is too watery. Not scented enough for me.
I decided to try this product after seeing it on sale. While searching for the perfect body wash may be a daunting task I found this one to be OK.
The scent is delicate and floral. My main gripe is that it just isnt scented enough. Many like products that way, but I enjoy at least a moderate amount of scent from a wash, this was too light for me.
The texture of it is very light and soft, however its very watery and you tend to squeeze out more from the bottle than you need, unlike more gel like washes which slowly ooze out.
It does indeed lather very well and definately smooths skin but the scent definately needs to be kicked up a notch. Overall, a worthy wash for those seeking a light fragrance

St Ives really hit the jackpot with their Whipped Silk product line, this wash is great to use before applying the matching lotion. It leaves skin super soft and not oily like some moisturizing washes.
