Pros: fast, quiet and great quality print Cons: none
For those of you out there that have been reading my reviews here at Epinions know that I am very partial to Epson Inkjet printers. I very rarely find much negative to say about them and rarely recommend another brand over Epson. This review is on...
Pros: Quality print, separate cartridges and a decent price. Cons: Goes through a cleaning type cycle every time you turn it on.
I finally got my new printer! My husband brought home the Epson Stylus C80, he has this one at work and loves it, so this is the one he wanted to get for our home. He says he bought it for me, but sometimes I wonder since he seems to find a lot...
Pros: A speedy printer, basic and economical. Cons: Requires much adjusting to obtain desired quality.
With the Epson Stylus C80 Inkjet Printer , Epson offers an economical choice in a desktop color printer. It is a versatile personal printer that fulfills my basic printing needs.
Before my wedding, I knew I was going to have to print a ton of color pages. I wanted to use my Epson Stylus 870 -- the print quality is excellent, and I didn't care whether or not the printer shakes my desk around. However, I also knew I was going...
Pros: Speed; print quality; separate ink cartridges; price Cons: Large footprint; grabs the paper loudly; shakes the desk while printing(!)
I recently purchased the Epson C80 as a replacement for our old Epson 440 inkjet that died on us after four years. I am pleasantly surprised with the progress and improvements made in inkjet printers in that time, and am satisfied with this printer....
Pros: Excellent print quality, particularly photographs. Solid as a rock. Cons: Expensive to run!
I've waited a few months to write this review. Not because I had any doubt about what I wanted to say, but because my last Epson inkjet was totally wonderful until it glued it's own printheads tightly shut and refused to print any more. I've been waiting...
Pros: Great quality (text, photo), fast printing, individual color ink cartridges, long-lasting pigment inks, solid driver Cons: Somewhat expensive inks; no border-free printing or roll paper support
I bought my Epson C80 as a result of a search for a good all-around color printer. To me, the term "good all-around printer" means one that delivers (1) excellent quality for photos, text / graphics, and mixed documents, on special and plain paper; (2)...
Pros: Separate ink cartridges Cons: Wastes ink every time you turn it on
I was fed up with buying new color ink cartridges with my HP printers just because one color would run out, so I thought I’d try a different brand. Definitely, do not go by whatever another customer or salesperson says because that is unfortunately what...
C80 is the new improved version of the color ink jet printer. Allot of ink jet printers on the market have two problems: they produce prints that have smears and smudges. They also have cartridges which are very expensive to replace. The C80 has an...
Pros: Fast, easy software installation, DuraBright water resistant ink. Cons: Wish I had it sooner!
The Epson C-80 inkjet printer in this review was a gift from my brother. Saying this means little, unless you know that he is still using a dot matrix printer made in 1992! I am sure that he would have rather bought this printer for himself, but being an...
Pros: Separate Ink Carts - Fast - Easy to Use Cons: Large footprint - 18" by 18" at minimum extension.
I anticipated when I bought a new eMac to replace my vintage '95 Performa 6400, I would be entering the Brave New World of USB peripherals. Starting with the most necessary device, a printer, I stuck to a brand that had served me well, Epson, to help...
Pros: Excellent photo printing and fast text output. Cons: Kind of big and clunky looking. Noisy paper loading.
I have had about 4 or 5 color printers over the last 10 years or so, and for some reason they were all Hewlett Packard. When I recently acquired a digital camera and tried to print out some photos on my HP 600C, it became obvious immediately that this...
Pros: very clear printing Cons: big noisy ink guzzler :(
where do i begin...? ok, as a few others here i had an HP 722C for 4 years which i LOVED! maybe im a sucker for a sales gimmick but i too went from my HP to the Epson C80 even though i probably didnt really need a new printer. the main things that drew...
Pros: Excellent sharp, clear, photo quality prints. Quiet, very easy to use..seldom jams! Cons: Sucks ink like Dracula sucks blood.
I am not sure I have the same model Epson stylus color printer as this one, but I have the Epson stylus color 880 and a friend of mine has the Epson stylus color 777 and her friend has an Epson too and we are all complaining about the same thing..INK!!...
Pros: Speedy, and individual colour cartridges. Out tray folds up to save space. Cons: xp issues - ineffective fixes - just about returned the printer. (happy now)
Update April '03:
----------------
Have been using the printer with no problems since I got the XP issues resolved (as below).
- It does seem to go through ink fast (compared to my old HP).
- Ink is somewhat pricey - $20Cdn each...
