Pros: If you liked The Writing's On The Wall, you'll like this. Cons: No growth on this cd. Status Quo.
Summary
You know - I'm all about saving your time and mine. I put the summary at the top so you don't have to be subjected to my long winded analysis :).
I received an advanced copy of this cd. As I opened the case, I rolled my...

Pros: The ballads are decent and "Emotion" was a great choice for a cover. Cons: It's cool to be independent. Just don't be unimaginative or untalented.
I am not a Destiny's Child hater. Hey, Beyonce, I ain't mad 'cause you kicked out them other two chicks. Business is business, and you gotta do what you gotta do. What I AM mad at is that you've suddenly decided you're this major producer/songwriter. OK...

Pros: Tight harmonies, great samples, creative and some great singing Cons: Over produced, some pointless songs included
Its been a couple of years since the phenomenal success of The Writings On The Wall took the world by storm with their anthems of independent women and needing a man who pays the bills. Originally four members they lost two members, gained two more and...

Pros: Absolutely stellar vocal arrangements...kudos to Beyonce Cons: Lyrics are complete garbage...*wagging finger* to Beyonce
Seriously, just a few more revisions, y'all. Bear with me. You'd think that in the year or so since I originally wrote this, I might have grown to like the record more. Not so. So if you already read it...I understand.
I wanted...

Pros: There are some great moments. They have terrific harmony. Cons: There is something wrong when over half of your CD is filler.
There's something about girl groups, isn't there? You've always got the same thing going with each one. First off, there's usually a star in the group. (Diana Ross in the Supremes, for example.) Girl groups notoriously bicker and member changes are ...

Pros: "Dangerously In Love" and a few (and I do mean few!) okay songs Cons: Overproduced, bad lyrics, too bubblegum, Beyonce monopolizes the vocals again, and loads more.
The Main Idea: After a pair of well-produced, soulful efforts, Destiny's Child sold out and created their worst album to date, Survivor. Though the record does have a few catchy songs, there's really nothing that sticks out at you as a maj ...

Pros: Booty Shaking For A Minute Cons: Too Many To List Here
Destiny’s Child should be disappointed in their third foray into the music world. I know that the group catches a lot of flack for having Beyoncé sing lead, but frankly, she should have kept singing. The fact that they all have to sing on every song is...

Pros: Vocally fantastic, catchy hooks and melodies, good energy. Cons: Apart from the few released singles the tracks are not very memorable.
Before Beyonce became a big solo star she was a part of an even bigger girl group. Destiny's child has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and Survivor was their third and probably most known album. It was also the first album ...

Pros: Great talent.. many good songs
Cons: Some fillers
Destiny's Child : Surivor
It's been two years since the last album. Maybe you don't think that's a long time, but it's felt like ages for me. I am a huge fan of Destiny's Child, I have all their singles and their two previous albums. When this...

Pros: from the ashes of disaster, an uncle and his niece bonded Cons: Now I could go on all day but I think the review will suffice
Everyone who knows me knows at least one thing about me for certain; I NEVER believe the hype. I ALWAYS question just about EVERYTHING. In short, I am one grumpy, cynical jerk. And I never thought that I would give in to anybody when it came to...

Pros: The occasional Fun Party track, Two great ballads.
Vocals. Cons: Wow-um read the review. :-(
2001, I remember it well. I was 14, my siblings were gone for the summer and the world-well the neighborhood at least was my oyster. 2001 Was also coincedentally the year that Destiny's Child released their third album, "Survior". I had been a fan ...

Pros: great vocal talent, good beats Cons: same old thing, album loses energy in latter half
For an album that's helping the 3 girls from Destiny's Child skyrocket to superstardom, you'd have thought that it would have been a little more original. Instead, their latest album, Survivor, was a repetition of their previous styles and extremely...

Pros: Will produce hit after hit. Cons: Will produce hit after overplayed hit.
The thing about Destiny's Child is: there is really no anticipation of a new album, because there is never a gap between hits. It's rather pointless. They pump out the hits like it's not even funny. It went from "Say My Name," to "Jumpin'...

Pros: Very good bootay shaking songs Cons: A few too many bootay shaking songs
Well, I had been anticipating this album for quite some time now. I mean, I even had "Independent Woman Part II" from Napster a couples months ago. So when today FINALLY arrived, I go up and went straight to "Sam Goody's". Unfortunately, their on...
