Pros: Very poor service and signal in Manhattan and Brooklyn Horrible and/or frustrating customer service/support Cons: Relatively less expensive rates and plans compared to the competition
T-Mobile is easily one of the least effective wireless providers in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I cannot speak for Queens, Staten Island, or the Bronx since I am not in those boroughs as consistently.I originally signed up because of a great ...
Pros: Great up front no contract plan Cons: None for me.
I am always misplacing my cell phone so I need a pay up front plan. T Mobile has a great one--$100 for 1000 minutes that are good for 1 year and they sell you a phone for $50 that is a very nice Samsung Flip phone. It is really bad to have a lost phone ...
Pros: 1st and 2nd level customer service reps are VERY VERY NICE. Cons: HORRIFIC SERVICE IN MANHATTAN!!!
Where shall I begin? Incoming callers are consistently greeted by the automated message informing them that all circuits are busy. I never even know they called until they tell me later since they cannot even get to my voicemail - which at this point ...
Pros: great reception, great phone selection Cons: nothing much.
I've been using T-mobile for over three years already. It was on of the first carriers to use gsm service. Having sims cards it makes it very easy to switch phones and save phone numbers. The reception I get is great on T-mobile. I never had any ...
Pros: Somewhat cheaper than competition. Cons: The worst signal coverage of all carriers.
I have spent 4 years trying to get T-Mobil figure why in a 3 block area where I live there is no service. (Nextel did it, true after 6 years.) So finally someone asked in a response to give my address where I have no service around my home, so he could ...
Cant get a decent signal in my own home, even though they say i have excellent coverage.
Got stuck with a mda that get the worse signal ever. Stay away
Their phones damage easily. The plans are way too expensive for the crappy quality of coverage. The authorized dealers can be very shady and sell you overpriced or damaged items.
I have been a faithful TMobile customer for 4 years. I have always had excellent customer service, a decent phone, and pretty good reception, but I have always used the phone primarily in TN. I now live in Manhattan, and TMobile is terrible here. I have NO reception in my workplace or my apartment, and only minimal reception out on the streets. I have talked with lots of other people, and they had the same problem with Tmobile in NY. I'm sad to say that I'll be switching service providers soon, which is really too bad because I've had a very happy relationship with Tmobile, and their prices have always been really good.
terrific service, most of the time by operanut ,Jul 14 '06
Pros: Excellent service most places I need it. Best prices of all other services. Cons: Occasionally have signal problems.
I've been a T-Mobile customer since it began as Voicestream. I have excellent service in my home, but as it is with all services, there are places that service isn't as good. (When I'm at my brother's house, I need to go outside to get service, but that might be the structure of his house rather than T-Mobile.
