Defying the odds.

Pros: Great characters, three-layered story that keeps the pace moving.
Cons: Secondary stories/characters are more interesting than the heroine.

Yes, it's another review of a Suzanne Brockmann book. I admit it, I'm a sucker for a man in uniform. I fall into that female stereotype.
