Pros: Sutton Foster, Tony award winner.
Five other well deserved Tony's Cons: Finding our way to into the theatre.
My wife and I were at the TKTS booth at the South Street Seaport on Wednesday morning. This is one of the two places in Manhattan where you can find some theatre tickets sold at half price for same day performances. We both had ideas as ...

This is by far the best musical I have seen in a LONG time!

Pros: Score, Technical Designs, Cast [Most], Book Cons: Weak performances by Sutton Foster & Marc Kudisch

Actually was worth the money!
by rhayesuofm ,Jan 17 '04
Pros: Fun! Great score, dance, costumes. Cons: Some parts may be a little racy for kids(but definitely not too racy)
Few Broadway shows these days are truly worth the high price of admission, but this one is. I saw it in NY summer 2002 and really really loved it. The plot is rather silly, but who cares? Song and dance are top notch, both leads at the time were fantastic (Sutton Foster won the Tony for it), and I hear the current leads are very good. The theater it is in is one of the more comfortable B-way theaters as well.

Awesome Show!!!
by jzafar ,Feb 25 '04
Pros: Storyline; never bored; costumes; makeup; humor, drama & suspense Cons: no cappuccino at theatre concessions
I had never heard of this musical. My friend got the tickets. We went on a Monday night. This was a grand smash!!! Humor, romance, drama and suspense!!! And a great twist at the end.
The costumes and stage sceneries were awesome!!! You could feel the energy from the actors.
If you don't like musicals, you'll love this!!!!
It's playing at the Marquis Theatre, which requires you to go inside the Marriott Marquis. Seating is comfortable and employees were all nice. 15 minute intermission.
