Time ATAC

Pros: It's like buying a pre-broken-in cleat and it does inspire confidence.
Cons: Price. Who wants to pay a premium for nothing more than a used cleat?

Pros: Plenty of float for the knees, never an accidental release, well made.
Cons: Depending on your shoe these can be a little tough to click into at first.

My review can almost be summed up in one sentence. "I can't believe I rode SPD's for so long, when I could have been riding the Time ATAC."

The only honest to goodness knock on these pedals is weight. But, I'm not a weight weenie and am a firm...

Cons: A little heavy compared to other brands

Great pedals!!! I upgraded from toe clips into the Time ATAC Thermoplastics. After much shopping, I found a set on eBay, brand new but opened, for about 45% less then my local shop. They were easy to get used to. I used to ride with my toe clips...

Pros: Sturdy. Rugged. Weather impervious.
Cons: Soft metal cleats wear quickly.
