I received the blower/vac as a Christmas present. I was very aprehensive because I had never considered owning one before. I have tried it and find that it is a 'good thing' as Martha would say.

It has two speeds, for most leaves and debris the low setting seems adequate. It changes from blower to vac very easily. The mulch bag seems to hold a good amount for most clean up jobs with the small size of my yard. It is balanced and light.

After my Toro leaf blower died after 7 years, I decided to replace it with an updated model. All I can say is wow. They made some changes for the better. It's more powerful, has a more secure lock system for the vacuum feature and is a bit quieter than previous models. This model has a metal blade as compared to a plastic one on their less expensive models. It decreases the chances of leaves clogging the blade when using the vacuum feature. It also has a variable speed as opposed to one or two speeds but that feature needs to be tweaked. If you brush against the dial it does have a habit of changing the speed unintentionally. Overall it is a great machine

I have had this Toro model for 2 months now and love it. I was turned onto this model by a fellow shopper at my Home Depot.  He told me that for the affordable price, you won't find a more powerful blower....and he was right.  Efficiency grades very high as does handling.  The only negative I've found is that the handle doesn't seem to be the strongest.  With the constant vibration from the motor, it seems this part of the blower tends to separate at the seams for lack of a better description.  But overall, this tool has helped make my yardwork alot easier and quicker at a very reasonable price.
