Beware...warranty bogus in my opinion
by gmalayman ,Aug 04 '07
Pros: I'm wondering! Cons: Teflon coming off.
I have the frying pan from this series. Paid a lot of money. Happy with the cooking ability but the teflon coating is already starting to peel after just 2 years! We have always used plastic utensils and there are no scrapes on the pan. The teflon is just peeling from the rim!!! I wrote Tupperware and they will not pay to ship the product to them...which can't be replaced unless I ship it with my money! So, I have asked local reps to replace it for me and they are all reluctant to do it! What good is the warranty then??????????? And for something so expensive!

NO Good.
by jdh3x3 ,Apr 17 '06
Pros: None that I can see. Cons: Many
Pot designed poorly for easy use.
Sides are curved in at the top, which makes it hard to scoop out food or scrape the sides with a rubber spatula. It also makes it very hard to poor from since you have to turn it practically all the way over to accommodate for the curved top. In the regard of pouring, the pot is very heavy and the handles are rounded with no kind of grips. Therefore, when you have to pour, the handle continually slips under the weight and the design. Very Dangerous.
The lids are too heavy to leave open for venting, they tend to fall in.
Also, the lid handles are very poorly designed, as you can not put the lip upside down on the pot for storage, because if the handle hits the bottom, it WILL Scratch it.
Also, they are not ALL non stick. The large double handle pot is not non-stick.
