Pros: Fairly quiet. Many dealers all over USA.
Cons: Very poor snow traction, very prone to road wander.
A good tire if it never snows or rains hard where you live. These tires are p215-65r-16 and come standard on the 2002 Vitara (see review) These tires have not failed in the sense I had a blowout or a tread separation. They have failed to provided adequ ...
Pros: Solidly made;rides quietly;handles well;seems to have good wet-weather traction. Cons: None that I can think of at this time.
I needed a new left rear tire,as the original factory tire lasted almost 70,000 miles and the tread was worn down to basically nothing. So off I went to research tires.First thing I found was that no tire retailer will sell you a tire that is ...
Pros: Good warranty, quiet Cons: Mine wore down early due to hard conditions
I drive a 2000 Chevy Tracker (see separate epinion). I don't exactly have normal driving habits so if you were wondering how these tires react under adverse conditions, I think I will be able to help you.
Pros: Lasts for ever, don't throw rocks Cons: Have little traction in mud or snow
Great for spring and summer weather
The Tiger Paws tire is what shipped with your GMC Jimmy. The tires are all round good tires and they last forever. We have 116,900 mile on the Jimmy and this is only the second set of tires.
Pros: Good Price, Smooth Ride, Quiet Ride, Long Tread Life Cons: Optional Whitewall. Guys, ask your wife her preference. I chose whitewall. I chose wrong.
We used to have an '02 Buick Rendezvous with Uniroyal Tiger Paws on it. When I drove them nearly to the wear indicators, I replaced them with another set of Tiger Paws. I didn't have problems with my 2002 vintage Tiger Paws or their replacements. ...
Pros: None, if you're dead from running off the road. Cons: Dangerous when WET!
These tires are standard equipment on my wife's Impala. She only drive a few miles on straight flat road to work everyday. I on the other hand drive 20 miles on windy, hilly roads to work. Every time I've driven her car to work I've noticed the ...
Uniroyal - Real Bad after sells support by parachan ,May 12 '04
Pros: hard to find one Cons: quickly wore out, bad support, forget about warranty, you are on your own
Just want to let all you folks know before buying the Uniroyal, tire, their customer support is BAD. I bought Tiger PAW AWP, about 20 months ago, and with just about 24,000 miles the tire threads are getting real low.
I realize that during the raining weather here in Houston.
So I took them for warranty /Pro Rate replacement.
Forget to mention I bought from SAMS, now SAMS stop selling their brand.
I've my tire rotated, checked , wheels aligned etc and have all the record.
But their customer support would not honor the 70k miles warranty.
