My DPS AX1
by clio04 ,Oct 13 '04
Pros: The way it handles all types of inputs Cons: The sheer size and weight
I have had my dsp ax1 for around a year now, and to put it simply it is amazing. My uncle has a full arcam FMJ system with KEF refrence 5's and i belive that my system does sound better. I use a marantz CD5400, sony dvd, sharp LCD AND PROJECT turntable. The amp is running my KEF Q55.2 front's Q 1's and Kef 1000PSW sub. The cable is audioquest and QED. When corrrectly set up the sound is superb. The bass is there but not over powering and the treble is strong but not peircing. Using the soundfields adds real atmosphere and excitment to many films/songs. Overall it is a fine amp far better than many amps on the market today!!!
