Watching Star Wars on this is great. Matrix 6.1 is awsome as are the other envirnments you can use to custimize your sound. I tested a Denon as well as other higher priced receivers at Tweeter on the same speakers and I was amazed. The salesman wanted to sell me a Denon and swore it had the better sound. He even went on to say that any real so called audiofile would have a denon. Then we switched to the Yamaha. His as well as my jaw dropped at the noticable sound difference. We tested them by watching a great Steely Dan DVD. After hearing what I thought was a Audiophiles best choice and trying the Yamaha I would say that either they can't hear all that good or I am just to damn happy to not spend the so called real money to be considered one of the elite listeners. This thing rocks!
