You play as Yami (the spirit inside the Millennium puzzle) in the beginning. After you defeat (or get defeated by)severak duelists, you go against Heishin, the High Mage. He will defeat you and you will smash the Puzzle. A mage who serves the pharoah's family will seal your soul in the Millennium Puzzle. Next, you get transported 3,000 years into the future and you duel as Yugi Motou. He collects all of the Millenium Items and you get transported back to the time of the Pharoah's. You go around and defeat the Mages (Forest, Sea, Desert, Meadow, etc.). once they are defeated and the Millenium Items they hold collected, you go against Lord Heishen, as he calls himself, and then you have to defeat him to win the game.

I liked the gameplay. Very fun if you already know the rules. Don't underestimate the power of the cards! I recommend it to anyone who can read.

Yu-gi-oh forbidden memories is a most have game for any gamer who enjoyed other classic like Pokemon and Digimon. Over 700 cards to collect in all it will have you hooked for hours on end. The graphic are not to bad ever and you can also see your monsters fight in 3D. Amazing game a most have for any RPG lover 5/5. The only downside to the game is that it gets very hard very quickly !!!
