Pros: Bright view, easy of focus, very good weight reducing carrying strap.
Cons: colour dispersion control can be better.
All people may heard that Zeiss optics are very famous all over the world in both photography and telescopes. Therefore, my review here may arouse other people's objection. However, according my personal experience to own both conquest series 12X45 & 10X40, I feel the colour dispersion control of conquest series are quite significant particularly in those areas between sunlight and dark things, for example leafs/tree edges under daylight. Although this two binoculars are bright in view and easy to focus, I still don't expect above colour dispersion found in this binocular which cost HK$5600-7000. I guess the reason may be Zeiss didn't use FL glasses in conquest series. Also, I couldn't find out the place of production on the binocular or box or warranty card, I feel curious about whether conquest series are made in Germany. Anyway, this issue is not important nowadays because many big brands have factories over the world. Finally, of course, conquest series is obviously a cheaper option compared with Zeiss top line Victory series.
