Pros: Great picture, awesome sound quality Cons: Quite expensive
While there are a lot of choices for handheld TV's on line, there aren't a lot to choose from in the stores. I chose this one based on screen size. This type of television comes in a shrink wrap pack and the store didn't have any display models to ...
Pros: price, sound quality, exceptional UHF reception, straightforward use Cons: strange resolution leads to bad details, holding with left hand blocks screen, battery life
I started thinking about buying a small TV about a year and a half ago. They got a lot cheaper and better since then, and the EV-4500 is no exception. Then, when I was looking around, two-inch TVs cost $150 and reception was non-existent. Of course ...
Pros: good perception; clear image and sound Cons: expensive; no tilt adjustment; accessories sold separately; battery life
I bought this since I ever wanted a small TV on my bedside.
It showed very clear image, and good perception. The design is so nice and easy to use. The best portable TV I can imagine. I tested its perception at the various locations at home. My...
Pros: Awesome picture for a tv its size, good sound and excellent reception Cons: comes off the stand easily, will be obsolete next year
This portable lcd color tv is a great value. The selection of portable tvs in big box stores is limited and usually the best selection can be found online or in small specialty electronics stores. I got this one used and it works great.. It has a sleek ...
Pros: Superior LCD, well constructed, good signal pulling power. Cons: Battery life, expensive but worth it.
In an era where CRT based portable TVs are on their way out and the LCD has come into its own, The Casio EV-4500 stands above the crowd. Most of the current offerings in handheld TV are from Casio who has been in the game since the first practical LCD se ...
Pros: good picture, good size for the screen Cons: no dc power support, eats batteries
I have no complaints about the TV. itself. Good picture. However if you're trying to buy accessories for this, you're out of luck. They still sell the TV and the ac adapter, however I did not buy this for home use I bought it to take on the road. Now come to find out they have discontinued the dc adapters and was told when I contacted Casio that they had no information on any 3rd party company that made a compatible dc adapter which I found out the hard way after purchasing and returning 2 different generic dc adapters. So here I am with a TV that eats batteries and no dc power support. So if you are thinking about buying this TV for the purposes of taking it on the road, think again.
Pros: Nice size. Good color. Good reception. Cons: Cumbersome tuning. Poor stand. Eats batteries (get an external power supply).
I wanted a little TV to use in my teardrop trailer and this one fit the bill size wise. Since the trailer is sided with aluminum, the TV needed to have an external antenna connector which this one does.
Reception is as good or better than my full size TV.
Channel selection is a bit cumbersome since you have to scroll through all channels. The numbers don't line up so sometimes it's a guessing game to figure out what channel you have tuned in.
Sound from the tiny speaker is loud enough.
Color is very good although resolution isn't very high with 122,000 pixels.
Size and shape is very convienient, small and pretty flat.
The stand that comes with it isn't great and doesn't have much adjustment available.
Battery usage is high, I get about 2 hours on a set of rechargables. I recommend an external power supply.
Overall, it works well and I would buy this product again.
i use this tv in school after class and at work. very good quality picture. sound volume is limited by speaker size and can be difficult to hear in noisy situations, but earphones eliminate that problem. overall quality is exceptional. i heartily recomend this television
