Pros: Price, cargo space, entry and exit Cons: It ain't pretty, reliability of luxury options, wiring can be an issue The Bottom Line: It can carry bulky light loads, about a half dozen people, and still not break the bank at the local gas pump - and they are cheap!
One of the most maligned vehicles since the Ford Pinto, a surviving Plymouth (and their Chrysler stable mates) minivan could be a viable alternative to a busted transportation budget. Being First Means Being A Target 1983 for me was ...

Pros: Excellent for families, peppy for its size Cons: Not a sports car. A few inherent flaws.
Five years ago, when our family needed a van to replace an '85 Voyager with tranny problems, we bought this current cornflower-blue, Plymouth Grand Voyager. I have been more than pleased with it. It has 6 cylinders, which give me plenty of power to...

Pros: low number of repairs, comfort, safety Cons: back door is on the wrong side!
Purchased in 1991 as a family vehicle to haul our 4 kids and their friends, this automobile has become a member of our family! With over 125,000 miles on it it remains dependable, safe transportation. It has hauled everything from tons of groceries to...

Pros: price, reliability, comfort Cons: wiring, engine light cannot be diagnosed The Bottom Line: This van just might last a lifetime.
I am the proud (sometimes) owner of one of the original soccer mom vehicles. Most days I love it, although there are some problems. I inherited the 1990 Plymouth Voyager from my dad when it became necessary for me to carry around most of a baseball ...

Pros: seats 7 people Cons: completely unreliable from a mechanical standpoint.
Oh, the excitement! We were going to trade in our 10 year old Volvo and buy a brand new Plymouth Voyager. After the requisite 7 hours of haggling with salespeople, we finally left in our new car! Our excitement was short-lived.
A few...

Pros: Smooth ride, very reliable, and tons of room Cons: N/A The Bottom Line: Great transportation. Smooth, quiet ride. Runs great beyond 150,000 miles.
I purchased my 1990 Plymouth Voyager several months ago to use for work. It had 142,000 miles on it when I bought it. I called the Crysler recall 800 # to make sure everything was updated. I then spent about $150.00 in tune-up parts. I highly recommend...

Pros: runs good with the 6cyl. and smooth ride Cons: lousy paint make it look terrible, and no warranty after 1yr.
In 1991 I bought my first chrysler, Plymouth voyager, and liked it! Then two weeks passed and small things like screws backing out of the interior panels would be found on the carpet and I would search for where they came from to put them back in ,so I...

Pros: Plush, comfortable interior Cons: Lots of annoying problems. "Will it start today?" The Bottom Line: Mechanically, I wouldn't recommend this vehicle. However, the interior is comfortable. This vehicle has been one that has been plagued with problems, mostly minor, but makes it an unreliable van.
We have owned this van for 8 years and will be trading/selling it soon for a more reliable van. It has been the vehicle we've used for making long road trips. We love the plush interior. The roof rack has been used to carry our car-top carrier (which...
