Pros: reliability, interior craftsmanship, performance (for its class), exterior styling Cons: a few common (but minor) issues, seats not the best The Bottom Line: Great car! Buy it if it has been taken care of. Any car, whether it is a Chevrolet or Honda, won't do well after 14 years of neglect.
I've owned this car from July 2007 until now (December 2007). I know the repair history starting in 1999 (the previous owner kept a record). I also have reports about the interior/exterior and performance of the car. I'll let you decide whether it is ...

Pros: Decent performance, roominess, comfort, good fuel economy and RELIABILITY!!! Cons: Tendency to rust around windshield and rear quarter panels... The Bottom Line: I would recommend this ride to anyone who wants a economic, comfortable, low maintenance and RELIABLE ride...Regarding these aspects, NO car on the market can simply match it.
I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX coupe with the non-vtec 2.2 liter 4. It has a 5 speed manual...So far, besides normal maintenance a very minor problems(clutch cylinder, main relay, and starter terminals) it had never let me down. I bought the car in 2001 ...

Pros: Reliability, durability, good mpg, quiet and smooth ride, quality seats, easy to maintain. Cons: Rust is a bit of an issue, lousy speakers {easily fixed}, not much else. The Bottom Line: This is a car worth considering as it is cheap at this point in time and is more reliable than a newer big three car.
This has been an extremely fun, reliable, and economical car for the 16 months we've had it. I drive on the freeway almost 50 miles per day and it rides smoothly, yet handles sharply. It returns 28 mpg while being driven 70-75 mph. Yes, it does ...

Pros: Reliability, ride, ergonomics, interior trim, paint (except for wipers) Cons: Rear viewing area, no intermittent wipers, A/C not very cold, rear seat legroom The Bottom Line: Definitely buy it, but first check on the repair history to make sure the maintenance schedule has been followed. If items are needed, use them to bargain down the price.
I bought this car new in early 1995 based on reviews and my family's experience with Accords (87 LXi and 88 LX). There were a number of warranty items in the first year (probably due to it being the first year in its generation), but all were fixed and ...

Pros: Size, drives well, comfort, good gas mileage Cons: poor A/C, electrical issues, transmission problems, leaks, faulty tire valves The Bottom Line: A good car when it works, but repairs are expensive and this Honda did not nearly live up to expectations.
I've had this car for about 4 years, incurring multiple problems. I enjoyed this car most of the time while it worked, though after attempting to fix the air conditioning multiple times for only short-term functioning and around $1000 in repairs, I gave ...

Pros: Reliability, cheap maintenance, fun to drive. Cons: You'll never look at another car company again. The Bottom Line: After buying our first Honda in 1993 (91 accord), my family and friends have bought Hondas exclusively. You cannot go wrong with a Honda.
I bought a 94 Honda Accord EX -4 cylinder. two years ago (2002) for my mother, with 68,000 miles on it from a private owner. She has taken it to work and back every day, and abuses the heck out of it to avoid being late. It frustrates me greatly, as I ...

Pros: Durability, reliability, Cons: shifts a little rough - The Bottom Line: The 1994 Accord is by far the best car I have ever owned. Besides its reliability, it is very comfortable and cheap to operate.
My Accord, as well as the previous 4 accords that I have owned have all exceded my expectations. Heres the deal - your 1994 Honda Accord WIIL LAST OVER 200,000 MILES. Thats right. Heres what I have done on ALL 4 of my accords that have all given me ...

Pros: Reliability, Handling, Fuel Economy, and Overall Build Quality Cons: Only a 4-Cylinder, not the Smoothest Automatic Transmission, a Squeeze to Fit 5 Adults The Bottom Line: Good, basic, and reliable transportation with surprisingly agile handling. Just don't expect the engine to knock you back in your seat (the automatic transmission will do that for you).
I bought a used 94 Accord last year based on recommendations from various Accord owners and Honda's overall reputation for making solid and reliable cars. People routinely drive Hondas well past 100K (and often 200K) and think nothing of it, provided...

Pros: great looks exterior & interior, reliable, runs good, vtec engine, power stuff, gas mileage Cons: shakes during braking, power windows noisy, engine noisy, high theft rating The Bottom Line: well, i recommend buying it, don't pay more than 4000$.
This is my first car. I liked its exterior and interior very much. It runs good, but is noisy, so I recommend buying a CD-player and keep it on :)
Power windows started to really suck, they make noise when opening and closing. Trunk closes very bad,...

Pros: Smooth quiet ride
Honda reliability
Low Insurance Costs Cons: CV Axles The Bottom Line: Looking for economy (30mpg) ride quality and reliability? Choose the Accord :)
I purchased this car as a step up from my old 1990 Honda Civic. It's no racecar, but the 130 Hp 2.2L 4 cylinder is much improved over the Civic's 1.5L. The acceleration is smooth and the Accord has no problem maintaining highway speeds above 70, and...

Pros: Gas mileage, road "feel", reliability, its a Honda! Cons: Non really The Bottom Line: You can't do much better in the used car market. A perfect car for your college kid or for your commute to work or an extensive road trip.
I confess...I'm a Toyota guy. I have had Supras, Camrys, MR2s and Celicas. However, I've owned a 1987 Accord too so I'll try my best to be as unbiased as possible.
This review is for a 1994 Accord EX sedan (2 door) with leather. My car is...

Pros: Ride and styling. Cons: Poor quality and craftsmanship. Repairs. The Bottom Line: Based on my experience of buying/selling used autos, I recommend avoiding this manufacturer.
My comments are based upon (3) Honda's owned thus far, which indicates a design trend as opposed to an isolated failure. Although all three have exhibited similar deficiencies, to be fair, I will only report on the 94 in this article.
These cars are...

Pros: Reliability, looks, size, power features Cons: Paint, tends to rust after 10 years, maintainence costs a lot, wheel noise The Bottom Line: Get a Honda of any kind if you want a reliable good car for the student or everyday commuter.
I recently purchased a used 1994 Honda Accord Ex that had 91,000 miles on it, with all the bells and whistles (dual exhaust, sunroof, all pwr., alloy wheels, 4 disc brakes) and it runs and looks great. The only problem is the wheel noise and the wind...

Pros: Reliability, Build Quality, Gas Mileage, Interior Cons: Weak Engine, Power Windows, very high theft rate The Bottom Line: This car is a class leader. It combines excellent reliability with style, good handling and great interior comfort and space. Almost everyone will be satisfied with this car.
The Honda Accord is the perfect car for a college student. I have had this car for almost a year, and besides an oil change, have had no problems. My Accord is a little different than most. It is a 1994, but has over 180,000 miles. It was bought new by...
