Pros: great ride-comfortable-nice looking Cons: 6 cylinders = just average gas mileage
The first car I ever bought was a Mazda 626. I had just graduated law school and wanted what I considered a professional looking car but still had class and some umph to it.
I tested every other car in its class. I spent months driving the...

Pros: Agility, looks, reliability Cons: Rare stall problem.
I've owned a lot of cars- Infiniti Q45, Toyota Celica, Toyota Corolla, Dodge Ram, Buick Regal, Mazda GLC. I've driven maybe a couple dozen others through rentals, test drives, or friends. The Mazda 626 stands out as a special car.
The Ride ...

Pros: Secure handling Cons: Not built to last
Having owned my first real car, a 1986 BMW 525iSE for over 6 years, I wanted to replace it with a car that was as reliable and had the same sort of build quality as the BMW but as I couldn't afford a good BMW, I thougt I'd buy a Japanese car and save...

Pros: V6 option is Fast. Looks sharp on the outside. Cons: It has problems like HELL, and its a FORD undercover. Service sucks! The Bottom Line: If you own this same car used, be prepared with a lot of money for maintainence and repairs, OR get rid of it quick. Hope you have a warranty
Ok this review may not be all that great, but worthwhile decent. I bought this car around December of 1999 from an Arabian Individual. It was SALVAGED with 88,000 miles. At the time I didn't know what salvaged meant when I saw it on the DMV papers, then...

Pros: Small enough but not too small - great features and reliability!! Cons: No trailer hitch (LOL) (none that I have experienced)
My first Mazda 626 was a 1982 model. I finally gave it up after thirteen years when the clutch went out - THE ORIGINAL CLUTCH. (yes, I was actually able to sell the vehicle after 13 years!) It was a little 2 door coupe five speed that could get around...

Pros: Comparatively inexpensive Cons: Not a convertible
You will love your '94 Mazda 626, if you get the right model. I have a ‘94 5 speed with the V6 engine. It’s the finest auto I’ve ever owned. I would put it high on the list for my next car purchase, overshadowing any urge to try something...

Pros: Great power from a failing V6 Cons: Transmission is a known problem and Mazda will not fix without a fight.
I used to own a 1994 Mazda 626 ES. I finally traded it in on a 2000 Neon which I love. With 41,000 miles my transmission went out and had to be rebuilt. At 78,000 miles it has went belly up again. Mazda denies any problems with their transmissions...

Pros: looks nice on the outside Cons: brakes never completely worked, transmission needed replacement already
Our family purchased a new 1994 Mazda 626 from the dealer in 1994. The first day that we drove the car home from the car dealership, the brakes were not working. The car rode like you were riding with the emergency brake pulled up and it was hard to...

Pros: power, well designed Cons: seats to hard
I just bought this car from my brother-in-law a few months ago. It has about 130,000 miles on it and it still runs like new. It rides like a brand new car. Before this I had Dodge Daytona, and well, I'll admit it was very sporty but rode like a brick....

Pros: nice interior Cons: everything else.
My 1994 Mazda 626 lx has 92,500 miles. I have replaced the transmission on a yearly basis, this is the third time. The blinking Hold Light (Transaxel warning light) is constantly coming on, and no auto shop has been able to find anything wrong....

Pros: Very comfy interior, beautiful exterior Cons: Everything else!
Before I leased my Mazda 626 LX V6 in 1994, I rented it for several weekends over 4 months from Enterprise Rent-a-Car. All the cars I drove during that time, were fabulous! Unfortunately, they were nothing like the car I leased. It HAD to be a LEMON!...
