Great value!

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great bang/buck, every possible option, capable/quiet engine, great handling and very stylish
Cons: Gas consumption, small/flimsy cupholders, plasticy interior, can't swap CDs while inside the car.
The Bottom Line: Great value for the money. Every thinkable option except heated side-mirrors, very sweet ride and smooth, quiet yet capable engine for a price of a much less equipped Honda/Toyota.

Intro: I bought my Mazda Millennia 1995 (not the S model) in early 2004 in Canada from a dealer auction and I must say that it was a great decision. The car has 150,000 KMs on it (around 100,000 Miles) yet it runs just like a slightly used ...

Mazda Millenia maybe...maybe not.

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Good Value, Lots of bells and whistles
Cons: Family sedan that wants to be sporty but doesn't quite make it.
The Bottom Line: If you are a Driver as opposed to a drive the Mazda is not really the car for you otherwise, it's a nice car.

Why don’t I love my Mazda Millenia? It has all the creature comforts, and the price was very fair ($18,000 in 96’ with 20k miles), but still I can’t seem to get myself to like it. Maybe it is because I consider myself to be a driver. I am someone who...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Comfortable ride, extensive features
Cons: Expensive replacement parts

I bought a blue 1995 Mazda Millenia in 1998 for about $16,000. I traded in my horrible 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4 that I had driven for less than two months. I shouldn't have test driven this car at night. It looked absolutely gorgeous in the dusk. The...

Millenia S - Can't be beat for the price

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Price, Reliability, Styling, Performance
Cons: Expensive Replacement Parts

I bought my 95 Millenia S in January of 98 with 71,000 miles on it. I was worried because I bought it at a "lease return auction", and had no clue what the previous owner had done to to it. It was a gamble...

I like my Millenia, but I don't love it.

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Good looking, lots of useful features
Cons: Poor fit and finish
The Bottom Line: A nice car for the money, especially considering all of the "luxury car" options that come standard. But the disapointments have been enough to make me not recommend the Millenia.

I purchased my 95 Mazda Millenia as a lease-trade-in with 35,000 miles in 1998. At the time, I was in love with the car because of the features - beautiful styling, power everything including sunroof/moonroof, leather, digital thermostat, 6-disc CD...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Value and Ride
Cons: Could Be Roomier

If you don't read another opinion about the Millenia - READ THIS ONE! This opinion is from an owner of a 1995 Mazda Millenia who recently test drove the new one.

I didn't think that they could improve upon this vehicle without jacking up the...

Millenia S love/hate relationship

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 2.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Smooth ride. Good handling and acceleration. Luxury.
Cons: frequent, expensive repairs
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend to anyone unless they can live with the potential for frequent, expensive repairs. If you can, an otherwise excellent car.

I bought a 1995 Millenia S in 1997 with about 40,000 miles on it. 5 years and about 40,000 miles later here is one owner's experience.

I love the car. Although it doesn't feel extremely torquey from a stop sign, or when you floor it, once...

Pros: Comfortable, decent gas mileage ... all around nice car
Cons: Crappy cup holders!

I love my Mazda Millenia! It's a 1995 model, but the body style hasn't changed (unless they've changed it in 2000). It's plush leather seats make it an excellent car for long or short trips. Mine has a sun roof which I really like because it opens two...

Pros: Performance, comfort, styling
Cons: Some times rough shifting 1-2 gear ('95 model)

Bought '95 S model in 1997 for $17,000 (about half of MSRP at that time) with 50K miles. Now has 85K+ and no major problems altho 60K maintenance was expensive (slightly over $1100). Purchased the car because of its styling, performance, and great price...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Handling, style
Cons: noisy, details

I bought a used 1995 Millenia S. It has been a great car and they are extremely good values in the used market at between $12,000 and $16,000. Nowhere can you get as much car as you can with a Millenia S.

The car is fast, although sometimes...

Millenia S, the Super car.

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: great handling, incredibly smooth and quiet ride and price
Cons: acceleration is a bit on the slow side and repair cost are high
The Bottom Line: Great look and luxury for under $40,000 and worth every penny

I am the owner of a 1995 Millenia S. This vehicle has a 2.3 V6 engine that puts out and incredible 210 hp. Sounds amazing, but it is true. This is due to Mazda's Miller Cycle engine that gives the car a very powerful supercharged engine. This...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: quick response, excellent styling, comfortable, classy and flashy
Cons: expensive to repair and maintain

I bought my 1995 Mazda Millenia S used in 1998. I was impressed by the fact that everything was factory installed. I felt at home when I sat in my comfortable electronically controlled leather bucket reclining seats both on the drivers side and...

Pros: Styling
Cons: Durability,

I bought this car for the style, its beautiful. Its safe and comfortable. The handling is average. I wish I had opted for the "s" model. The power is OK but not up to par with the segment. I was quite disappointed in the estimate for repairing...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: No

Pros: quiet, good ride, great sound system, comfortable
Cons: service just not on par with other luxury cars

I bought a 1995 Mazda Millenia new. It was an especially pleasing car at first. The ride was smooth and quiet, the handling was acceptable and the Bose sound system was first class. The Merot color was quite attractive and the tasteful leather...

Pros: Sexy lines and a strong engine
Cons: Over padded front seat shortens rear legroom

I was in the Market for a Japanese luxo-sedan when my Saab was totaled. I have a high regard for the Swedes pursuit of safety and performance but I have an even higher appreciation for Japanese quality and rock solid dependability.
My search had...
