Pros: Great mileage, very reliable, and manages to look semi-cool. Cons: Whatever ails all other small cars. The Bottom Line: If you are or have a teen about to start driving, get the Mirage. It's a great first car, and you won't regret your choice.
My first car was a 95 Mirage. I have only the fondest memories of it. The Mirage is what a mechanic buddy of mine calls a runabout. It's not overly imbued with style or outrageous comfort, but it will get you from point A to point BE safely and reliably....

Pros: Styling, gas mileage, fit and finish Cons: Only two doors are a bit much for someone who's 48
I purchased a Mirage S, 1.5 liter, five speed in Late July after my previous ride decided to give up its ghost at a VERY inopportune moment for me.
Two doors, metallic green, 71K miles and still in great mechanical shape. Good tight fit and...

Pros: economical and efficient Cons: not a good car for hauling large furniture
I bought mine as a college student looking for reliable transportation! Never owed a car before and had a Dad that is anal about his cars. We researched for two and a half months, comparing what to buy and this car has given me the best time of my life!...

Pros: Runs as good as new, great gas mileage, cheap to drive, and maintain. Cons: Seams on the seats are giving out and the trunk opening is too small. The Bottom Line: Great car if you want good gas mileage and low operating costs. It seems like it will run forever.
I bought my Mirage LS brand new in 1995 with 21 miles on the odometer. I needed a cheap, reliable car with good gas mileage at the time. My plan was to keep it for a few years and then buy what I really wanted. My little Mirage kept going and going ...

Pros: Great gas mileage, comfortable, very low wear and tear and affordable Cons: trunk cannot fit anything extremely large in width. The Bottom Line: This car is a great car to purchase, especially for a college student who can't afford much. Who wouldn't want a reliable car with virtually low maintenance.
If you are looking for a car with low gas mileage, that will run without wear and tear for quite a while, is comfortable to drive and most of all, AFFORDABLE then this is the car for you!
About a few months ago, My fiance' and I adventured out...

Pros: Fuel efficient, Reliable, affordable Cons: Seatbelts tough to use, looses power with AC on
My wife bought this car brand new before we met in 95. I met my wife in 97.We lived in California and so most of the miles put on the car were highway. I must say it's hard to beat 38-40MPG and 30-35MPG in town.
I'll admit I was brought up feeling...

I bought a Mitsubishi Mirage because I needed a small economy, reliable car for school. I fell in love just with the looks of the car at first. It's got that small sporty look. It's very efficient on gas, even my mom, now and then, trades cars with me...

Pros: It is a CAR. Cons: The seat cover seams are giving out
We bought our 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage LS Coupe straight off the showroom floor in April, '95. It had four miles on the odometer.
After nearly 13 years and almost 100,000 miles, it was still getting an average of 35 miles per gallon when it needed a head gasket. That was the first work done outside of routine maintenance and one new battery in all those years.
We live where the winter temperatures dip below -20 at times and it has never failed to turn over and get going.
