Pros: reliable, comfortable, does good on snow, nice looking Cons: it's really a Ford, horrible gas mileage, underpowered The Bottom Line: This is a good smaller truck but not the best choice for someone who needs acceleration, any towing power, or cares about gas mileage.
I bought my 99 B3000 4x4 (extended cab w/bedliner and 5speed) in May to replace my first 4x4 pickup, a Toyota. So far the truck has done well.
Mechanically:
It's been reliable and has never left me stranded. It hasn't developed any...

Pros: Dependable, comfortable, all at a good price. Cons: None yet.
Last August we finally got rid of our 1984 Chevy Eurosport stationwagon--the last of its kind. As I waved “bye bye” and my daughter-in-law took my picture, no tears came. No way. Because no longer would that sorry looking thing be sitting in my...

Pros: easy handling, 4x4 on the fly, big extended cab w/doors Cons: less power than expected, gas mileage
I love my truck! After my last vehicle, (a kia), my Mazda B3000 is terrific. Not perfect, but definitely a good, tough truck.
I have the B3000, 5 speed standard, 4x4, extended cab. No power package which I definitely regret. The B3000 is a...

Pros: Good look, low price Cons: way short on power
I went looking for a truck with only one thing in mind, price. A dealership in Baton Rouge (Diamond Mazda) was offering one of those PROMO ads, so I had to go check it out. After a short time I had decided which one was for me. It was an extra cab...

Pros: Reliability Cons: Lacks power
I bought this pickup truck in 1994 and sold it in 1998. The vehicle (and all other Mazda pickup trucks) is actually made by Ford and resold under the Mazda name.
Before choosing this vehicle, I test-drove a Toyota (similar size and HP) and...

Pros: small, manageable, gas efficient Cons: lacks power steering and anti-lock brakes
I found this Mazda truck to be a very dependable vehicle. The truck handles beautifully, always starts.. even in the dead of winter, is easy to maintain and is very cost-efficient. I find that my Mazda also has great gas mileage.. and is very comfortable...

Pros: Dependable Cons: Uncomfortable ride
We bought a 1992 Mazda B-2200 extended cab in December of 1991 because my husband needed a new truck. The reason we went with the Mazda is the fact that it was the only truck that had enough room in the back seat to fit our child safety seat.

Pros: Price, components, looks Cons: Power, space
This past summer my lease ran out on my car and being fresh out of college I decided it was time to buy a new vehicle. Having had a bad experience with my lease helped finalize my decision to buy. I thought it would be nice to have a truck so i...

Pros: Great quality, comfortable, powerful Cons: Poor gas mileage, bumpy ride
I purchased a new 1999 Mazda B4000 SE 4x4 this past June, and have had nothing but good experiences with it. My previous vehicle was a 1996 Honda Passport, with which I was slightly dissatisfied on quality and reliability. I test drove and did research...

Pros: Strong engine, good ride, excellent value Cons: Poor seat coverings, poor gas mileage
After researching light trucks and subsequently test driving various makes, I decided that the best of the light trucks was going to be the Mazda/Ford. With that in mind I went shopping and found that a similarly equipped Mazda would be quite a bit...

Pros: everything Cons: nothing
I have had my truck for more than three years now and I don't think that I will ever get another kind of truck again. I have a 1990 B-2200 Mazda, it may not look to hot anymore but pound-for-pound, I think it could out live any truck these...

Mazda trucks are pretty good cars, they drive smooth and have great
acceleration. My uncle has a 1995 which has been to the shop once for
transmission problems but hasn't been back since. The back cab is pretty
comfortable with...

Pros: Value, Decent looking Cons: dull interior, low output engine
Well, Its not the best truck on the market, but its one of the least expensive. I'ld like to see someone get another brand new truck, with nearly every option for $10,000. Truck in question, a 99 B2500 SE.
The output of the engine isnt very...

Pros: Can do it all Cons: light rear end - slips occasionally The Bottom Line: For a cheap, reliable, and versatile small pickup, the Mazda B2300 is well worth the money!
When searching for a second vehicle, I decided I wanted a small pick-up. I looked at everything out there, and finally settled on a used (one year old) B2300 standard shift, 2 wheel drive. Truth be known, it was the price, not the style or features that...

Pros: Reliable, lots of fun to drive. Cons: Underpowered for heavy work.
When I graduated High School in 1992, I bought a 1990 Mazda B2200. I don't know anything about the original owner, but the truck had 47000 miles on it and was practically brand new. I owned it for three years and traded it in at 90000 miles. I'm...
