Cons: no tachometer, EVERYTHING is optional (I'm surprised the TIRES aren't counted as an option), the most hideous dealer/customer relations on the face of the planet

Pros: Economical gas consumption, fairly reliable, fun
Cons: Deceptive Finance Dept, Problems with seats. Not safe or reliable car. VERY EXPENSIVE MAINTENANCE.
The Bottom Line: Looking back after 6 years I am not impressed with this car & will NEVER buy another Honda. Get your own financing, don't deal with Honda Finance or Service.

Pros: Makes an inexpensive coffin in the event of any accident in it
Cons: no torque, vague steering, back end too eager to hop out, broke down more than a Yugo during the winter, I'd rather be struck by a car as a pedestrian than in a Civic piece of tin!
