Pros: Impeccable interior, excellent finish inside and out. Dealer incentives! Cons: Weak complaining engine, still a bit pricey.
Okay, work with me here... The dawn of the sport utility vehicle is very much analogous to the evolution of higher organisms millions of years ago. No more than 20 years ago, huge, unwieldy station wagons roamed the earth (following me here?), moving...

Pros: Nice Interior, Bayshore Blue and Sahara Beige Colors, Roomy,Versatile Cons: Weak Engine, Truck-like ride, Price (when desired options are added)
I am a car person. I like cars. Trucks are OK, but mostly I see them as tools. The Pathfinder is a truck. A pretty good truck, but a truck just the same.
I've never understood the term Sport-Utility. Most SUV's don't have much sport at all....

Pros: Solid fit-and-finish with low interior noise Cons: Needs boost in performance
This is a vehicle for the individual wanting a solid SUV but with a car-like ride. I purchased the 1999.5 Pathfinder SE Limited 4X4 after stepping out of a Ford Expedition. The differences between the two are substantial (more power/room for...

This is my first review so please bear with me. I bought a 1999.5 Super black Pathfinder this last August and I LOVE IT! I went with the SE model with the popular package and sunroof which gives you the fog lights as well as the additional sun visor,...

Pros: Build quality inside and out is EXCELLENT; reliable; well-mannered Cons: For a 240HP power plant, the response of the engine is just plain vanilla The Bottom Line: This is a vehicle that does so many things well that it may seem a bit ho-hum. Do not be mistaken: this SUV is a keeper!
The Nissan Pathfinder could be one of the most under-appreciated SUVs on the market. With that thought in mind I found a GREAT deal on a 2000 Pathfinder LE with cloth interior. Because the deal was solid enough I settled for the LE, otherwise I would...

Pros: GREAT SUV Cons: WORST SERVICE / CUST. SERVICE
I recently purchased a 1999.5 Nissan Pathfinder. I love the way it drives,
handles, and performs. This is the first time however, that I have had such "buyers remorse" when it comes to customer service provided by
"Team"...

Pros: Classy, well-built, nice interior. Cons: Low acceleration, low back seat space.
My first Pathfinder was a '96. I bought it because of it's solid build and sporty feel. Later on did I find out that the engine in the '96 model was "the worst built Pathfinder engine ever made by Nissan." I said, oh great, I'm stuck with this...

Ok you know that stupid commercial? The one where it starts "What happens when a SUV is raised by a family of sports cars?" Well, the Pathfinder would be the retarded SUV-child of that family.
