Pros: Beautiful looking truck and rugged. Cons: less than stiller last place in lemon law disputes The Bottom Line: The four-wheel drive is easy to use. But I just have to many concerns to sign on the dotted line at this time
Who knows perhaps we have been spoiled in that we have owned Saturn's for so long. I got use to going to a car lot and having my requests to not be bothered respected while I considered my options. What I can tell you I have partaken in an experience I...

Pros: Quiet, powerful, a GREAT ride; overall an excellent pick-up truck!! Cons: None
This is a tale of how a simple trip to visit our 23-year old daughter in upstate New York turned into dreams of a new pick-up truck for my wife and me... Of how the "best laid plans" of one coastal Maine family actually did go awry (as...

Pros: Looks beautiful, fun to drive Cons: Engine design, too much plastic stuff, auto door locks suck The Bottom Line: Compare with GM and Dodge before buying!
Review of 2001 Ford F150 Pickup Truck (June 3, 2008) Ugh! I can not understand why everyone thinks this truck is so rugged? In my opinion, it is NOT rugged and I will shortly explain why. A little over two years ago, shortly after moving ...

Pros: Great vehicle for hauling boxes of fruit away from the fields; a farmer's life made easy; comment-inspiring truck! Cons: Gas guzzler, but great for its category!
Call it a brute beast, heavy, savage, and tough piece of machinery on the roads and the fields. F-150 SuperCrew is truly the type of vehicles that construction foreman or a dairy farmer or any farmer raising cattle can enjoy. More than all these...

Pros: Handles great. Quiet ride. Comfortable seating...even in the back. Cons: Somewhat plain interior (even though an upgraded "Lariat" edition.) The Bottom Line: Maybe not for everyone, but I absolutely LOVE it! If you find yourself wanting a serious truck and want a good ride, this is a good solution.
OK..I have owned pickup trucks, and I have owned a pure "SUV" and for me, each is a compromise. In considering this purchase, I had to struggle with the question..."is a vehicle that has BOTH attributes nothing but a compromise at best?"
My...

My husband's dream was to have a truck that he alway wanted. He had bought me my car pontiac sunfire 1995 new, and now it was time for him to have his.
We shopped around and came to the Ford Dealer and in the show room there my husband saw...

Pros: no climbing into the back seat, comfy, spacious, fun to drive Cons: short bed, doesn't have some amenities The Bottom Line: I recommend this car if aesthetics is important to you and if you're not wanting it for too hard labor
This truck is a blast to drive and aesthetically wonderful to look at, not to mention utilitarian. It has its glitches as most things will have, but I think in general this is a really great car.
Driving this car is almost like playing a...

Pros: Power, looks, comfort, ride Cons: shorter bed/bad gas mileage when pulling.
We just purchased the new 2001 Ford SuperCrew XLT. This truck has it all. Good looks and power. The 5.4 liter engine will pull our 3 horse trailer weighing in at about 4,500#s and a horse weight of about 3,000#s with the tack weight for a combine total...

Pros: safety, comfort, style, powerful engine Cons: Can't think of one con
My husband and I were in the market to purchase or lease a new vehicle. We have always been loyal to Ford, but couldn't quite figure out, which vehicle would be best for our family of four.
There are a lot of options out there...SUV's,...

Pros: lots of space, comfortable, no back problems, tough, reparable Cons: a bit tough on gas, body, lousy in the snow and ice
I bought this truck new in 1988 and it's still going strong today. I expect to get at least 15 years use out of this truck with relatively minor repairs and if I get that then I will be pushing it to get 20 years.
The truck has been used very...

Pros: Passenger comfort, ride, power, interior space. Cons: Paint could be better. The Bottom Line: This truck fills all the needs of a family. Ready to do the work and go out to dinner with friends. This is the best of both worlds.
My 1995 F150 extended cab was not cutting it anymore. My kids were getting too big to stuff behind the seat. I needed a full size car, a truck to pull my boat and a sharp vehicle to take clients to view property and it must do all of these things well. I...

Pros: Carry's lots of people Cons: Poor Gas Milage, Small bed
Wake up America, trucks are trucks, they are not passenger vehicles. We've been fooled by advertisements, a truck is for hauling cargo, towing trailers, not for carrying passengers. Now we've come to a full head, a truck with four doors that...

Pros: Four real doors, increased space for rear-seat passengers, usual F-150 strong points. Cons: Smaller cargo box, less-than-ideal interior ergonomics, doesn't have the most powerful engines in its class.
Offered in both XLT and Lariat trim levels, the 2001 F-150 SuperCrew has been designed for consumers who want more interior space without compromising the functional capability and versatility of a full-size pickup.
Unlike the SuperCab, which...

Pros: Spacious and comfortable interior, very quiet ride, excellent handling and braking Cons: Poor audio system, little interior storage The Bottom Line: I would recommend the SuperCrew to anyone needing the ability to carry people and equipment in a number of configurations and under various conditions.
I received my truck back in June and already have put 12k trouble free miles on it. It has proven itself on a number of backpacking/biking/hiking trips. I was initially considering the Sport Trac as well, but chose the SuperCrew because of the bigger...

I can't believe out test drive of the new 2001 Ford Super Crew F-150! It has the size and power of a full size work horse but one look inside will convince you - this is No ordinary truck. The stylish features include a two-tone dash, extra-plush...
