Pros: classic comfort, unexpected fuel economy, roominess
Cons: tuna-boat size and handling, fin-de-siecle design elements The Bottom Line: The Lincoln Town Car is one of the few remaining classic luxury cars -- old money in a sea of nouveau riche imitators.
I lived for three years in Tucson, Arizona -- wintering grounds of many a snowbird -- and I'll never forget those early autumn days, when the "tuna fleet" returned to the desert. Not stinky old fishing boats, mind you, but a veritable flotilla of what...

Pros: Comfort, room, V8, quietness, incredible heating and AC system, Stereo with CD and dsp, fuel economy Cons: small moon roof, no stability system, needs 17" wheels
I am a large person so I need a car that was not only comfortable for me but could also seat 5 full sized adults in comfort.
I love the interior of this Town Car, it's quiet and the seats (heated, which is nice in New England) have more adjustments...

Pros: Super large inside--6 people could easily ride in comfort, classically elegant looking, safe Cons: Doesn't hold it's value or have the reliability of Lexus or Avalon The Bottom Line: First thing coming to mind: the classically elegant outside styling of the Town Car. And, for some, that's more important than the technological superiority and reliability of a Lexus!
Of course you should rent this car for a special occasion. It makes a
very elegant and glamorous impression. It is extremely luxurious. I think it looks somehow more majestic and regal than the Mercedes or Cadillac. It is very dignified and...

Pros: luxury, ride, elegance, pure nirvana. Cons: I don't need another car, poor handling The Bottom Line: If you want comfort, the town car delivers!
This is the luxury car of yesterday: Chrome, flashiness, pillowy ride, leather sofa seats, gigantic trunk, and big V8 power, but with a modern twist. This is most likely your parents' dream car, and when you get old, it will most likely be yours also....

2001 Lincoln Town Car (Executive)

The 2001 Lincoln was my mothers first pick when she went to "OC Welch" ford. We saw this car driving down a long stretch of road and it looked like an angel. With the...

Pros: REAR WHEEL DRIVE, ROOMY, SMOOOOTH RIDE, BEST CRASH TEST RATING IN CLASS. Cons: ALPINE SOUND SYSTEM SUCKS, NEEDS MORE PONYS UNDER HOOD. The Bottom Line: A WHOLE LOT OF CAR FOR NOT A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY.
LET ME FIRST START BY SAYING I RECENTLY PURCHASED A USED 2001 LINCOLN TOWN CAR, WITH 50K ON THE ODO. I LOVE THE CAR EVEN WITH ITS FAULTS, WHICH ARE FEW. FIRST I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THE CAR SINCE THIS LIST IS FAR SHORTER THAN WHAT I LIKE ...

Pros: This car floats! The air suspension works without failure, resulting in the smoothest ride imaginable. Cons: Expect considerable envy from your neighbors. No Trespassing signs should help. The Bottom Line: Everyone who can afford this car should buy it. It's sheer purrfection. The older models (1990's) had air bag suspension problems, but this year doesn't. Worry free on all counts.
At last, the Best! I've waited a long time for Lincoln to make the best Town Car and this time they've got it all right. What could be better than having all the special features that the 2001 Lincoln Town Car could offer? No one compares to Lincoln....

Pros: Excellent styling, luxury and name Cons: None
The 2001 Lincoln Town Car is by far the most luxurious car I have ever ridden
in. Everything is extremely comfortable even on the longest of rides. The
heated power seats are also very nice and the stereo functions very well.
