Pros: Smooth, powerful engine. Many standard features, comfy seats. More sophisticated, and still fun to drive. Cons: Less torque means higher revs. New looks and personality may not excite some younger buyers. The Bottom Line: The RSX is the mature, more refined replacement of the late Integra. Though much of the youthful personality is lost, it's a fine car, and still fun.
WHAT'S IN A NAME? Noticed a name trend with Acura cars? It all started around 1996, when Acura started dropping car names in favor of "upscale-sounding" alphanumeric labels. Examples? The Legend became the “3.5RL”. Then Acura added the “TL” and...

Pros: Transmission, easy to read console, engine, handling Cons: No room in the back for passengers, The Bottom Line: You will LOVE this car !!! Not recommended for families, because of smaller rear seats and tight suspension.
Two days ago I purchased a RSX premium from West Side Acura in Edmonton (If you want to know who the best person to talk to is just e-mail me). For those readers in the states this model comes with everything the Type S comes with except the Bose sound...

I purchased my 2002 Acura RSX 5 speed last year used (Certified Pre-Owned). My car was and still is in pristine condition with only 45,xxx on it now (it had 40,xxx when I purchased it). I feel after driving it for a full year I can give a very thorough ...

Pros: 200hp iVTEC engine, 30 miles per gallon, race-inspired seats, signature Honda quality Cons: Service may be expensive, requires premium fuel The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone. Interior quality, craftsmanship, value, and reliable performance in its class are unbeatable.
Honda has done it again... as the Acura Integra took it's final bow in the US in 2001, the Acura RSX came nipping at its heels as a very worthy replacement. The 200hp Acura RSX Type-S is Honda's answer to the late Integra Type-R. It features an all new ...

Acura RSX Premium, 2002

It took Acura quite a while but they have finally replaced the Integra with a new model. The new Acura is called the RSX.

Pros: Quick, comfortable, stylish, little car handles with the best, standard options galore Cons: rear headroom, bumpy/gravel roads really bumpy, unprotected area of radiator, 91+ octane fuel The Bottom Line: Under $25K safe to call a sports car? One drive you'll swear that it's nothing less. Reliability of a Honda with the luxury, feel, and sound of a BMW.
As a former valet, I've parked nearly every type of car out there from Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Jags down to Fords, Chevys, and cars I had to crank with a screwdriver. The RSX is an absolute dream for the price and the quality of car you get.

Pros: Fun, sporty, fast, looks great. Cons: Bumpy ride, not enough storage in the front. Expensive insurance and fuel. Expensive to repair. The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a fun, reliable car, this is a great car for you. But look elsewhere for young drivers or if you need a family car.
I owned an Acura RSX for 5 years. It was recently destroyed in an accident. Unfortunately Acura is no longer making the RSX, but if you are in the market for a used car, the RSX is one to consider. I owned the base model, automatic. I didn't add any ...

Pros: Sporty, refined, athletic, and upscale. Cons: Silly name (the RSX is an Integra everywhere it's sold except North America). The Bottom Line: The RSX is a worthy successor to the vaunted Integra because it moves the Integra to a new level of luxury while retaining most of the Integra's sporty origins.
The 2002 Acura RSX is the replacement for the 3rd generation Integra which was produced for eight years. Given that most cars are redesigned every four years, the Integra was an automotive dinosaur when it was finally retired. However, the 1994 to 2001...

Pros: Being the finest car in its class, it gives the power, comfort and road handling. Cons: Interior noise level might not be acceptable for grandpas. The car needs a good spoiler. The Bottom Line: ACURA KEEP UP THAT GOOD WORK !
The 2002 Acura RSX has left many people wondering how come the word ‘Integra’ was not there. Why not Acura Integra RSX right? More than we all would ever know, it is just another of Honda Motor Corporation of Japan marketing department’s new selling...

Pros: Looks decent, good handling on smooth roads, in-dash changer, brakes Cons: Weird interior, unsettled on rough roads, torqueless The Bottom Line: If you have money burning a hole in your pocket and NEED a Honda, check this one out - but I'd rather have a 10-year old Honda than this one.
Here is my personal review of the RSX Type-S. Kudos to Epinions for finally posting it - I've been itching to write this for a couple weeks now.
I went to the local dealer and they had a "desert mist blue" RSX Type-S sitting out front. It...

Pros: More upscale, freshened look, and quality to match the Acura name. Cons: Too much quality? Too much upscale? The Bottom Line: For a daily driver you can turn up on the weekends, this is your choice. Fresh and class winning, very good. Sporty feel, smooth engine.
It all started in the 80's, when Honda decided to market a more upscale wing, called Acura, which I might add only exists in North America. The Legend was a great example, quick, and luxurious. Then Acura starting going alphanumeric. Legend became RL,...

Pros: 6-speed, bolstered leather seats, 200-HP, iVTEC, it's a Honda. Cons: Tires, no illuminated sunvisor mirrors The Bottom Line: A great-looking, sporty, quick, comfortable [for 2], and downright FUN car that clearly outdoes the competition. The greatest pocket-rocket going!
I put my order in 2 months ahead of time. The day it was released to the public, July 2nd, I played hooky from work and showed up at the dealer at opening. I was the first person in the Philadelphia suburbs to drive away in a 2002 RSX Type S.

Pros: An Elegant Compromise Between Performance and Luxury Cons: Price The Bottom Line: The RSX Base Model is a nice, sporty car, and undoubtedly the best one in the class, with these features, at this price.
You already know about the Honda and Integra heritage of the car, I'm sure. If not, read the other opinions on this fine car. They've covered it pretty well.
First off, let me say that, in fact, most of you will drive UNDER 100 mph and have...
